Hey guys, actually there's this video named "Pele did it 50 years ago" that compare recent plays by modern great player showing Pele doing the exact same thing (or almost) first. You should react to it, there's part 1 and part 2.

Pele made the Brasilian team in 1958. Pele pro career was from 1957 -1977. Most of what you showed was in the 1960's. Simply put Pele is the father of modern football.
Amazing. That elbow attack Pelé did in the face of the uruguaian player was a response to another attack from that same player against Pelé, in the 1970 world cup. For us here in Brazil Pelé was the greatest player of all time because he was complete (he kicked with his two feet, he defended well, he dominated the ball amazingly, he dribled very well...) and he scored more than 1000 goals in his carrer for Santos, the brazilian team and NY Cosmos. Greetings from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.

The player who scored the most goals in a game is not a good way to measure, because the leagues are not as evenly competitive like the NBA is. That record is held by a striker named Manzizila that scored 21 goals in a game for Swedish 7th division, but it's hard to compare that to Wilt's records because of the level of competition. Pelé once scored 8 goals in game, which is a lot, the most Messi ever scored in a game is 5, for example.

Pelé debuted for the Brazil team at the age of 17 at the 1958 world cup, he was one of his top scorers, scoring two goals in the final. By a draw he ended up with shirt number 10 and there was created the mystic that the best player of each team should wear 10. The height of Pelé's career was in the 60s and in 1970 he played his last tournament for Brazil being the only three-time world cup player to date at the age of 29 retired from the national team and a year later retired from football. In the mid-1970s a group of American businessmen convinced Pelé to abandon his retirement to help popularize football in the United States, so he played two more years for NY Cosmos before leaving football definitively at the age of 34.

If you wanna go old school, 2 players you gotta check out: George Best and Eusebio. Best was from Northern Ireland, played in the 60s, dribbled like Messi, became a Manchester United legend and an infamous drunk. Eusebio was born in Mozambique, played for Portugal and Benfica, became the first black player to win the Balon d'Or. Known as the Black Panther, the Black Pearl and O Rei - the King.
Pele is the God you have to take into account his age. When he won his first world cup. He played in an era when there were no subs. The original 🐐. Also he that stuff when a tackle could easily end a career.
A lil bit of info hes a national treasure in his country won the world cup 🌎 3× ... won one when he was 17yrs old and just came off a injury and also won a player of the century award
All the things that are common place today. Pele invented them. Nutmeg, roulette dribbling skills, check. Bend the ball free kick, check. Bicycle kick, check. Rebero kick pass, Dribble the team and score, check. Pele reimagined how the game was played and every followed his lead.
Pele play in a time where there was no yellow or red cards, thats why you see an elbow to the face in the video. A one point players were just trying to taken out with flying kits cause, he was that good. He could used both legs to shoot, had power on hes shots, was fast, had vision to past the ball, control of the ball and speed. He was a complete player!. Thats why he is the king of soccer! Always!.
I agree with the Yellow jersey man, Pele was atheletic like Ronaldo, despite having the stature of Messi and for his time incredible technicaly also, he was best player of the whole last century of football played. You should react to his biggest rival on that claim to best in the century, "diego maradona - top 25 freestyle skills ever" Keep up the good work
This man was doing this in dirt fields and the ones that did have grass was some hard ass ground lol couldn’t t imagine how he was doing what he was doing with some uncomfortable ass boots in a tough field
Pelé won the world Cup 1958 for Brazil and even scored in the final as a 17 years old kid. he won the World Cup 3 times out of a total of 5 World Cups Brazil won. theres just Germany and Italy with 4 World Cup Titles behind number 1 Brazil with 5. Pelé ist the greatest of all time !
He was the youngest ever World Cup winner at 17. You should watch the 1970 Brazil Word Cup team (inc Pele) and the 1982 Brazil World Cup team (they didnt win but were the best team) In terms of old school legends Johan Cruyff is a must (plyd for Holland) Diego Maradona (Argentina) Zico (Brazil) Michel Platini (France)
Maradona is another legend that is regarded as the best football player of all time. Pele and Maradona are the OG’s and GOATs. Do a review on the Argentine Legend Maradona.
He played at 1958 to 1976. Won your first world cup with 17 years old and score 2 golas in the final, after that won two more world cup and until now is the only player make that.
Pele played in era without yellow or red card, defenders were tough on him, and he retired at 30 with injuries but he still have 1250+ goals record. Messi cries over a tackle.
Some hidden/old historical gemes: Garrincha (true OG on film) , Romario, Hagi, Van Basten, Roberto Baggio, George Best, to name some greats you might not have heard of, but all had an impact on the game
this is the quintessential of that legen....wait for it....dary number 10 of football...he revolutionized modern football ... lets not compare, just enjoy...oh btw, Pelé said one player he admired a lot, Garrincha, sadly not many footage of him...and also check out Rivelino , without him (and maybe Jay Jay Okocha too), you wouldve not seen Ronaldinho playing like he did
In nba a 30 point game is like two goals in football but a hattrick is like 60 points a game. Messi once scored 5 goals in the ucl which is basically 80/90 points in a play off game but no big players have ever scored more then 5/6
Pelé won his 1st World Cup in 1958 when he was 17, he won his 3rd one in 1970. You can't compare stats like you do in the NBA because unlike basketball (or other American sports), you got 100s of leagues around the world. Plus the game was very different in the 60s, it's not like today where you expect every top player in the world to be playing in one of the top European leagues, international transfers weren't that common. Two other players to check out are Garrincha - played with Pelé but had a lot problems, yet in some ways was an even crazier genius. The other is Maradona. Pelé was the GOAT in the 60s, Maradona was the GOAT in the 80s
I'm so glad you did a Pelé video! If you ever want to do a Part 2 (or Part 3) I suggest these two videos: th-cam.com/video/ioA0DwrriWM/w-d-xo.html A longer highlight video of him. You can imagine that a guy with 1284 goals has a lot of highlight footage (even though a lot of his older games were not filmed). th-cam.com/video/sYokNMEgRvw/w-d-xo.html This one compares him to current players and shows how he did all these amazing skills we see nowadays 50 years ago, the man is truly a pioneer. If I could suggest you more old school players, I would say: - The whole 1970 World Cup squad from Brazil. This is the greatest national team ever assembled, some of its players include Carlos Alberto Torres (right back and captain of the team, scored a powerfull shot against Italy in the finals after a genius pass by Pelé), Rivelino (the inventor of the rubberband dribble, the one Ronaldinho does on the sidelines when he fakes bringing the ball to his outside and cuts back in side abruptly in the same motion), Tostão (a maestro that won the South American championship with Cruzeiro), Jairzinho (the only player to ever score a goal in every match of a World Cup, he finished the 1970 WC with 7 goals in 6 matches), Gerson (a genius of the long ball, could be compared to a recent player in Andrea Pirlo, but left footed) and trust me, many more all time great players. Here is a clip of all the goals they scored in the 1970 WC: th-cam.com/video/drsjxiXGtr0/w-d-xo.html - Garrincha: Garrincha was the Robin of Pelé's Batman. He was the skillfully slick right winger that dribbled his defenders pass with ease and gave a lot of assists to Pelé's national team's goals. When Pelé got hurt in the second game of the 1962 World Cup, Garrincha stepped it up a notch and lead the Brazilian team to a second World Cup title in a row as the country's best player. He was an innovator beyond his time and invented a lot of the moves used by today's wingers. His lifestyle was like his play, reckless and fearless, he was a womanizer and had deep alcohol problems, and even though he was a national hero that won a World Cup as the best player, he died poor and ill, victim of his own vices. th-cam.com/video/AjoHpHu7LNc/w-d-xo.html - Zico: Zico, like Messi, is that classic sport story of an all time great that never won the biggest title. Zico was a classic number 10, an offensive mastermind, capable of creating plays and putting his team in place to succeed every time he touched the ball, and he didn't need many touches to do so. Zico would be what an American would compare to a great quarterback like Peyton Manning, someone that always knows what's going on the field and creates the best play possible out of it. Had a touch in the ball like few, shown by his absurd rate of goals per free kick attempt. th-cam.com/video/gAW9WZN_Llo/w-d-xo.html Awesome content, guys! Keep it up!
I hope you guys realized by now that the Brazilian players are sauciest ones. Pele was the one who`s started with changing the way of playing football, he was playing differently from all the other players at the time, specially compared to the Europeans, before it was all about straight and cold good passes and scoring goals. Brazilians changed the way football is played. Btw, I saw you guys asking in the videos but Pele, Neymar, Ronaldo Nazare, Ronaldinho, Robinho are all brazilians. There is a famous saying that became famous in the football world, "joga bonito" which means "play beautifully" in portuguese, that came up because the way brazilians play football.
Archie Thompson scored the most goals in a game (14 I think? might have been more) but it was Australia against American Samoa, I could maybe score 20 against them lool. Archie Thompson was just about a pro, came and played for a lower team (not in the prem) near me in Bristol. America Samoa have a tiny population, there are small towns with more people, so it don't mean much. 9-0 tends to be the biggest gap you will see between good pro teams, don't think that's ever happened at a World cup, and rarely in club football (maybe once a season in each league)
He is the original number 10
Before him football was a team sport then people all of a sudden realized mega stars and one man Army was a thing!
Fun fact: no one on his team wanted the number 10 and he was the last one to pick a number.

You should react to his biggest rival on that claim to best in the century, "diego maradona - top 25 freestyle skills ever"
Keep up the good work
Thats deff early COD!! You know we caught that bro!
Johan Cruyf essentially became the prototype for attacking midfielders in Europe. He would be a cool reaction video that i haven't seen anyone else do
“Pele is good” is like saying “Michael Jordan is good”
This man was doing this in dirt fields and the ones that did have grass was some hard ass ground lol couldn’t t imagine how he was doing what he was doing with some uncomfortable ass boots in a tough field
The KING ...👑⚽
Pelé won the world Cup 1958 for Brazil and even scored in the final as a 17 years old kid. he won the World Cup 3 times out of a total of 5 World Cups Brazil won. theres just Germany and Italy with 4 World Cup Titles behind number 1 Brazil with 5. Pelé ist the greatest of all time !
He was the youngest ever World Cup winner at 17. You should watch the 1970 Brazil Word Cup team (inc Pele) and the 1982 Brazil World Cup team (they didnt win but were the best team) In terms of old school legends
Johan Cruyff is a must (plyd for Holland)
Diego Maradona (Argentina)
Zico (Brazil)
Michel Platini (France)
agreed that in 1982 Brazil were the best team but still not a good as the 1970 team who not only won the world cup but were beautiful to watch.
Maradona is another legend that is regarded as the best football player of all time. Pele and Maradona are the OG’s and GOATs. Do a review on the Argentine Legend Maradona.
🔥🔥🔥 love it...keep going
The 🐐
DreadLock Squad on the Grind💯
He played at 1958 to 1976. Won your first world cup with 17 years old and score 2 golas in the final, after that won two more world cup and until now is the only player make that.
Pelé the goat
Pele is top two of all time with messi. He won the World Cup at age 17 (in 1958) with 2 goals in the final!!!
You two need to watch the pele movie
Pele played in era without yellow or red card,
defenders were tough on him,
and he retired at 30 with injuries
but he still have 1250+ goals record.
Messi cries over a tackle.
@4:27, isn´t Muhamed Ali?
Some hidden/old historical gemes:
Garrincha (true OG on film) , Romario, Hagi, Van Basten, Roberto Baggio, George Best, to name some greats you might not have heard of, but all had an impact on the game
this is the quintessential of that legen....wait for it....dary number 10 of football...he revolutionized modern football ... lets not compare, just enjoy...oh btw, Pelé said one player he admired a lot, Garrincha, sadly not many footage of him...and also check out Rivelino , without him (and maybe Jay Jay Okocha too), you wouldve not seen Ronaldinho playing like he did
The best forever, king Pelé
The GOAT.
Please do a reaction for Rivaldo or Zidane, I'm loving the vids keep up the great work!!!
Watch “Pele. He did it 50 years ago”
React to Falcão, best futsal player ever
Puskas, Beckenbauer, Charlton, Socrates, Cruyff, Platini, Laudrup, Zidane. The playmakers of the past. The dudes who were like Kevin.
The ball alone back then could mess u up it would absorb water and make it heavy as hell good thing they made the ball better now lol
One of us, as in human.
In nba a 30 point game is like two goals in football but a hattrick is like 60 points a game. Messi once scored 5 goals in the ucl which is basically 80/90 points in a play off game but no big players have ever scored more then 5/6
Maradona is God, Pele created the universe, and its Gods
Back in the day it was leather footballs bro 🤣 it was nuts in the winter
The King
The real GOAT
Thats the God of football right there ..
I'm so glad you did a Pelé video! If you ever want to do a Part 2 (or Part 3) I suggest these two videos:
th-cam.com/video/ioA0DwrriWM/w-d-xo.html
A longer highlight video of him. You can imagine that a guy with 1284 goals has a lot of highlight footage (even though a lot of his older games were not filmed).
th-cam.com/video/sYokNMEgRvw/w-d-xo.html
This one compares him to current players and shows how he did all these amazing skills we see nowadays 50 years ago, the man is truly a pioneer.
If I could suggest you more old school players, I would say:
- The whole 1970 World Cup squad from Brazil.
Here is a clip of all the goals they scored in the 1970 WC:
th-cam.com/video/drsjxiXGtr0/w-d-xo.html
- Garrincha:
Garrincha was the Robin of Pelé's Batman. His lifestyle was like his play, reckless and fearless, he was a womanizer and had deep alcohol problems, and even though he was a national hero that won a World Cup as the best player, he died poor and ill, victim of his own vices.
th-cam.com/video/AjoHpHu7LNc/w-d-xo.html
- Zico:
Zico, like Messi, is that classic sport story of an all time great that never won the biggest title.

Awesome content, guys! Keep it up!
The best soccer Plays ever.
Pele in 50` did all the tricks and skills in todays era.
Pele el original numero 10 el ganador de 3 copas del mundo saludos de argentina
