A lovely, positive podcast--thank you!
So glad you keep your podcasts positive.
You girls are great and so sweet to each other,,
Wool and Folk was on Friday. The venue was changed at the last minute; the new venue had a building that was not ADA accessible Other vendors ended up in tents outside it was rainy and muddy. Many vendors outside had issues setting up on Thursday. There was just a lot of things that went wrong and folks lost a lot of money. I’m sure you have seen some of the vitriol online. I did not get there until 30 minutes before they closed because it took me eight hours to drive there due to weather and traffic. So I had a brief, but very pleasant shopping experience at the Lamb and Kid and Les Garcon.
I love those socks, Dina, for your son! So neat! Always love the podcast. 🥰
Thank you Kimberly. Now I need to cast on the other one before I lose my mojo!
I love the colors you are using for your Stephen West shawl. The colors are coming together so nicely in that pattern and it looks so fun! ❤️
Thank you so much! I haven't worked on it in a bit. Will pick it up again
Beautiful yarn colours for the Hesper Shawl! So much inspiration!!
Dina, I love your colors for Geogradient! So bright and cherry. I'm halfway through Clue 3...definitely hitting a wall as its been my solo project of late. Going to cast on some socks!
Your kits always kill me! Really, really good…. If I weren’t heading up to Sacred Sheep next week…..😬
Three events on Friday and then Rhinebeck on Sat. Wool and Folk was an nightmare but the rest of the events were awesome!!!
I did the same as you @mindykannon4650 … hope to repeat all, except Wool & Folk next year…😊
Love you ladies…I’ve gone to “Rhinebeck” four times and love the event and most of all love going with my fiber BFFs 🥰. I went to the 3 pre-Rhinebeck events on Friday…Indieuntangled was first and then Cakepalooza. Both of these events were wonderful even with the rainy weather. Then we headed to Wool & Folk…I couldn’t find the vendors I wanted to see…couldn’t move through the crowds! I arrived around 2:15pm and left an hour later…so disappointed! The response from Wool & Folk has been pitiful 😣. The NYSW Festival on Saturday and Sunday didn’t disappoint…even with rainy weather. The best part of attending this is seeing/hugging/meeting people…🤗🧶💗. Hope you attend next year…would love to meet you both in person and give you hugs 🤗. Thank you for all you do for this amazing community…😄🧶
I want to go to all of it, but never seem to make it. Retired so it would not matter on number of days, just the financial end. Love your podcast
Dina, what were your colors for the Starting Point Wrap? I just love them! And I didn't see a kit for this. Thanks! Sara
Thanks for the fun podcast. I think I need the Arika Cowl. That is adorable. Thanks for the ideas. Have a great week.
You are so welcome! Arika is cute little cowl!
Hi, Dina. Love your son's socks! Have you and Pam considered doing a color-work sock KAL? I've never knitted socks, but I'm sock curious and especially like cut color-work versions. (Did you see the coffee socks Madeleine of Fruity Knitting recently finished?)
Thanks so much Jo, glad you like them. We have not considered colorwork socks. Something to consider 😊
Saw your live Saturday so of course I bought the pattern! Thanks ladies love the cowl KAL! And love you guys!
That's great Marion. So happy we Inspired you. I'm knitting along. About to work Clue 3😊
This was my first time out to Rhinebeck. I did Cakepalooza and Wool and Folk on Friday. Wool and Folk was what I was most excited about, but was greatly disappointed. Rhinebeck itself was fun and I would go again, but maybe not the satellite events.
I love your podcasts! I always get inspired!
Glad you like them Susie. What's on your needles these days?
@@TheKnittingPlace I am making a toddler
Poncho for my great niece:)
First time at Rhinebeck coming from Southern California. I took a class at Rhinebeck which I liked. I wasn’t overwhelmed but you need two days to see Rhinebeck. Wool and Folk was a s@#t show. I bought yarn for the Jora because I liked the one Dina knit. I’m excited to swatch there was also an event that Brooklyn General put on that was Saturday night.
Glad you enjoyed the weekend. Hope you like knitting Jora
You girls look like fall.
We flying from Charlotte. This was her third year. I look forward to it.🧶 we go to the perfect blend yarn store then to cake Pelouze then wool and folk then Saturday, Ryanback
