bro yveltal isn't evil, it has a very important role in the world and it's to keep the balance between life and death. if xerneas only existed, then the world would be way too full of life, it would be chaos. the creatures will consume and take too much place, so everyone would kill each other for food and space to live. it would also be chaos if yveltal only existed. legendary pokemon can't be considered evil because of their role. if any of you have been wondering, no giratina isn't evil either, it just hates fighting. that's kind of why it's in the world of distortion: arceus gave it that space, but the hatred for fighting grew bigger as the battles in the other world affected giratina's. that was arceus reminding it that it should be in the real world and not isolated. pretty much a punishment in some way

Houndoom has some pretty dark abilities, but it's not particularly evil by nature. The never ending pain thing is pretty scary, but doesn't affect it's personality, meaning that it isn't any more evil by nature than any other dark type

For houndoom I partially disagree for it being evil because in the johto series, houndoom is seen for helping Misty’s Togepi with something (its been a while since I saw it) and it’s face looked like it felt really bad for it.

Anirban Prottoy this is something I really like to point out whenever someone calls the "demon like" Pokemon evil. Let's talk bout Darkrai for a second(in the main games, not mystery dungeon), wouldn't you put people to sleep, give people nightmares and feed on them in order to keep yourself alive? Even it knows how it's powers can affect people badly, so it secluded itself to new moon island, so that no one would end up there on accident and suffer from the nightmares. That is the reason why Darkrai was never appeared in any other official game, to keep the continuity of it's lore(and also bc it's a mythical).
God Darkrai well to be honest darkrai isn't evil people just calls it evil I don't think the nightmares caused by it are intentional just something that happens because of it's presence like in game it's presence during a pokemon sleeping will cause it to have bad dreams due to darkrai's ability

Just what I can expect from a follower of the Cult of Shadows.
I'm... confused.
For one thing, I'm confused on the idea that a pokemon is evil based purely on its instinct. Take Nihilego for example. The Ultra Beasts are said in game and the anime to be hostile because they're in an area unknown to them, like bringing a random animal into your house. Add the fact that it works purely out of instinct due to not having a rational brain, and you have a Pokemon that acts hostile because it wants to defend itself and doesn't know any other way to act. Chaotic Neutral is a thing you know. Malamar and Houndoom are likely the same way, only using those "evil" abilities as defense mechanisms. While there have been cases where Malamar have been evil, there were also episodes (including ones with the evil Malamar in them) that showed Malamar that were good in the anime, not to mention that the Pokedex has also stated that they only act malicious because their trainers tell them to, so lumping the whole species together seems a bit unfair when you could just use the one group of evil ones on the list.
Gourgeist probably sings in joy cause it managed to catch some food. I mean, you'd be happy if you went hunting and caught something right?
The Marshadow entry makes no sense given the movie itself explains why it does what its does. Even then, I don't get how Marshadow is higher than a Pokemon that has actively evil members in its population when your only argument is a theory.
And then there's Yveltal. So, it's evil because it causes death? You know life and death are considered beyond good and evil right? You can't really label life or death as inherently good or evil because life and death can have different effects on different people. Also, Yveltal can't really control the "all life around it dies" thing, hence why Xerneas exists to balance it out (Also, If The Diancie movie is anything to go off of, people are high balling Yveltal too much. Thing didn't even steal all of Kalos' life force, just that of the one forest area.).
To make thing worse, you provide two pokemon that have shown that they are actively evil, not purely on instinct, in the Black Fog and Spiritomb. They attacked cause they wanted to, actively hurt people and Pokemon just because or for the fun of it, heck the Black Fog killed Sabrina's pokemon and haunted her, yet they were lower on the list than two Pokemon that were considered evil cause of instinct...
Honestly, this list felt you didn't have that many legitimate entries, so you grabbed a bunch of ones with more dark sounding ideas behind them and put em here. Your lack of a set criteria for why something is higher or lower on the list makes that feeling stronger, as I'm left wondering why Gourgeist is higher on the list than the Black Fog (who you provided more evidence for than, arguably, every other entry). Sorry to say, but I wasn't a fan of this one.

Going by the games, its implied Giratina isn't evil at all as it only appears when space/time is in danger of being altered, destroyed or corrupted and will preserve life. The movies make it out to be a vengeful creature but only when its home its threaten which is a territorial nature all living creatures possess. More angry and less evil

Also, not really fair to call something evil based on a trait that can't actually be helped. Like, the whole, Houndoom's flame will leave anyone burned by it in pain for the rest of their lives. Certain jellyfish have super painful deadly stings but, they're not evil, they just, are.
Even Yevetal, it's, it's a legendary and it was made to do the things it does, that's why it exist, therefore as awful as the things it does are to our point of view, it didn't choose to be that way, it just is.
Arceus now, that's an evil Pokémon, what with, being the creator of all pokemon and giving Pokémon things like, flames that leave all it burns in pain for the rest their lives. That's evil.
