@@egovoronum We don't have plans for it but we plan to investigate it. It seems to be a pretty commonly accepted position that the current state of the Gazelle and the Mistral would be too much. We have seen that the Hind is performing worse since the R60M has been added to it.
for the countermeasures to work, you basically have three buttons in the cockpit to set up first, two buttons right next to your thigh and a red cover infront of the throttle to lift open. to employ the countermeasures, you want to either hold the keybind for a bit as it takes a while and doesnt deploy instantly. also counbtermeasures dont have any programs so its just two flares and like 1 chaff every push. without the keybind you just hold the button under the red cover, regardless though for both ways, the cover has to be open. for the radar, its real simple, you have three switches next to where your right knee would be, the left most switch on the black panel is your OFF, STANDBY, and ON switch. click it to standby for about 3 minutes to warm up the radar, then put it to on for it to work. it is very rudementary so you basiclaly have to point your nose directly on the target to lock him and then get the two vertical brakets on the radar screen over him too. above the radar you have another black panel with 8 switches, IFF is theonly one you really need unless its cloudy out inwhich you have a weather mode available on one of the switches that will declutter the radar returns from clouds. to IFF, you need to have dashes on your screen, press the IFF button before locking something, an Equal sign means friendly, and a single dash means unknown/enemy. when low, theres another switch on the original black panel thats for ground clutter, dont believe the title, it literally just moves the radar dish up three positions to a max position of +17 degrees.
Nice video dude! You actually did pretty well considering it’s was your first attempt. I’m pretty sure that black smoke coming out of the back of your Mig is the exhaust & Russian Jets are notorious for burning black like that. Heck they still seem to have issues with it today. If you watch videos of the Su-35 & Su-34 they belch black Smokey exhaust! The Mig-29 & Mig-21’s were known for this and a lot of Western fighter pilots said they could spot the Migs way, way before they got into a merge because of the black Smokey exhaust. I think it was Cunningham (can’t remember his first name off the top of my head) a famous Vietnam pilot in F4 Phantoms mentioned this a few times in his books, that they could see the Migs miles away, especially on overcast skies because of the black exhaust. I’m not sure if it’s the fuel or engine but probably the engines since it occurred in multiple fighter models. Anywho great video! Was enjoying to watch you sweat a little bit! Hey btw there’s something wrong with your video, not sure what’s causing it. There’s like a distortion towards the lower corner of the video! I think, but not 100% sure, it’s on the Left lower portion of your video, looks really strange! Might want to check that out and fix it!!!! Thanks for the vid. I don't think that sound is the gun cocking. I think it is a mini-explosion to clear the barrel or chamber or whatever. I'd have to read up on it to be sure.
