i really believe that yoshi has decent matchups versus the floaty characters. i would say while puff and peach are still favoured, i think yoshi holds his own quite nicely against them
yoshi is one of those characters that in actuality isn't bad, its just the skill that it takes to be good with him is insane. So i guess "low tier" more so means difficulty of use rather than potential.

The only issue being that the god technique, parrying, is ridiculously difficult to use, which is where Amsa's skill comes into play. I don't think Yoshi is a completely bad character, he is just stupidly difficult to not suck horribly with. But ye in reality, the difficulty to use him makes him suck, so i'll give you that one. Also falco is the devil when it comes to playing yoshi.
Dude if tiers determined the difficulty of using the said characters, Falco and Peach would be the very top (maybe even Marth). Yoshi would be down there with Boozer and Mew two. Too easy to screw up with those guys.
