I never get tired of your video's they remind me of the good ole days when we use to butcher our own farm animal's you know what's you're getting cause you raised & fed them & that's the good life . some of the younger generation today just don't know how good to process your own meats you raised , love the video's thanks for sharing👍💛
It is the good life, that’s for sure! People nowadays are so lazy that they won’t even purchase the meat already cut up! They have to get it already prepared and cooked!!!!😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
I love love love these beef videos. Everyone including the kids has such a good time processing the beef. Your videos keep me so energized thanks McGie for the great videos.😊
When skinning any animal we process I cut a little slit in skin enough for a finger to go in and that hand becomes dead weight to pull down on while cutting. For me it’s easier than always having to grab the hide and pull. Awesome video
Loved the video. Beef always tastes so good when you butcher it yourself. You and your family is set for the winter. I had to get a new victorinox knife this year. You are a great person to learn from Avast of knowledge. keep up the great work.😀😀😀😀
when skinning , start with the back of the hind legs and belly area working your way around to the back , you could nearly pull the hide off some animals at this stage or just use your fist in a pushing motion
The Beaver tail your eating is supposed to mix with the meat of the Beaver 🦫. By our standards it’s a small Beaver I have seen them weigh more than 50 lbs in my lifetime when I trapped in Northern Saskatchewan. Excellent video by the way. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the video but you didn’t mention how long you let it hang. While you’re at it, how long for the pork. Always watching from Panama City Florida, USA. 🇺🇸🦅 ! No Snow Just Breeze !
We don’t have a set amount of days, whenever it works for all 3 families to get together. The longest we’ve let one hang was 45 days. Pork is fine for about a week.
I enjoyed the video ! It's a shame you waited this long to eat some beaver tail lol . I think you might have left yourself open for some good comments on eating beaver tail lol . Thanks for sharing and have a great day !
Because we like the beef to age in the cooler, the bone protects the meat and keeps waste down, and the steaks will probably have the bone in like this!👉🥩
