I have several cats and there are two racoons and a possum that come to eat with my kitties. They are cool critters , my cats get along with them. I dont mind them eating occasionally . They will sit and look into the house through the sliding glass doors. Thank you for caring for them critters. Every critter deserves a chance .

Funny story - I had a small family of raccoons living somewhere near or in my yard. A mother, four babies, and a couple of teenage looking ones. My mulberry tree was dropping berries onto a tarp I had put down to kill weeds. The mulberries started to ferment. One night I heard raucous screeching, and the next morning there were piles of raccoon poo everywhere. My outdoor cam captured one heck of a drunken raccoon party!

Unfortunately not many places do it this way. You can't just relocate, he took them and made sure they were safe, put them in a box for mama to come get them one by one to move on to another den she has set up for such an emergency and they all survive and he patches up what needs done int be roof. This is how it should be done people.

I have a bunch of racoons around my area, that all seem to feel safe near my place here, they trust us pretty well. I leave them leftover scraps and little snacks when i think it'll help. They usually come back during night time. And it's quite understandable that they come back actually. Wouldn't you come back for your children, even if you saw them being abducted and you had no hope of finding them ?

I actually had two raccoons, one for 16 hears, and one recently for about 4 .5 years until he broke out from my 20' x 20' screened-in porch/deck of my home last summer. In any event, I really enjoy all your Raccoon videos that you upload to your channel. Thank You for having the care and compassion that you possess and show when coming to the aid of the homeowners and more importantly, America's Wildlife.....particularly, with the "RACCOONS", my favorite wildlife of them all!!!!!!

Trust me, they’d have come right back, unless you put them hundreds of miles away. They will always find humans because we supply food and nesting material. Humans produce tons of trash, abs raccoons love trash. Did you see how healthy those babies were? They were more healthy than some puppies look in human homes.
I've been feeding my squirrels and birds for decades, but I don't feed the raccoons because I don't want them moving into my attic. I love to see them when the come toodling around though. I put water out for the critters and the raccoons do seem to love splashing in it. There is a tree in my woods they have been living in semi-nomadically for the 30 years I've been here. It's cuteness overload when they have babies and they all look down at you from their perch at the same time.
Raccoons are such cute, sweet, smart animals. Thank you for not treating them like vermin. Some people keep them as pets and I heard they’re smarter than dogs.
I was walking in the park with my dog when she found a newborn baby raccoon with the umbilical cord still attached. It was being eaten by flies and crying. I took it home and tried to save it but unfortunately, it died a few hours later. It was too young to be separated from its mother.

@@smiletime She had an alternate den site picked out before she gave birth, and not just because a predator might find her den. Forces of nature like storms can suddenly make the primary site untenable as could an overrun of parasites (fleas, lice, biting flies) in the primary den.
People always think oh how cute and sweet they are until they get in your attic and cause $$ and then you need to pay $ professional to get them out or like my neighbor don't and watch your house burn down
