I own two Cockpit USA jackets and I love them, extremely warm in below zero temperature, but would love to have an Eastman. They were the jackets worn by B17 and B 24 bomber crew during WW2.
love the b3. i got a schott b3, and it is old and wanted a new one. i did my research and settled on a aero b3. i originally thought i was going eastman, but after thoroughly going over everything, the aero seemed a better option for me. i ordered it last week, and may have it for april, just in time for spring lol.
Own several from the mid 90s, first bought one just before leaving school, my second one is from 2001 and I still have it and it looks brand new. Great jacket man
Beautfil jacket. I live in the US and really want one but ordering i feel may take such a long time to arrive if it doesn’t fit properly i fear it taking a lengthy process to get it just right. Do you feel if the weather is in between the teens and twenties on average that this jacket may be too warm for that sort of temperature? Thanks!
Hi this is a very warm jacket. I enjoy wearing it but struggle to wear it as often as I want because winters aren't as cold anymore. I think you would have the same issue if you bought one.
I think an Eastman D-1 or B-6 would be more suitable, theyre designed for around teens and twenties temps, whereas the B-3 was designed for flying at 25,000 feet in -20 temps for hours on end
