I would like to know as well! I found Heather x Studio which has her picture. It only has 3 products with 3 sales unless its someone pretending to be her or something.
I love your video. I started a shop about 2 weeks ago doing print on demand and digital products. I get over 30 brows a day but I only had 1 order. Is there something wrong with my shop?
Thank you so much for your content! Super valuable. I wanted to ask if there is importance to actually writing long descriptions and also writing an about me in order to rank higher or even start getting any sales? I have read in some articles that this could be a reason why someone could be getting many views but no sales.
So sweet to apologize for using the wrong word. I'm pretty sure we all knew what you meant. It's human to have the occasional brain fart. Thanks for sharing design process.
It’s November 😅and now finding your YT channel. I know Christmas is few weeks away, Is it too late for me in 2022 or should I focus on make the most I can in Q1 in 2023?
@heatherstudio Heather, thank you so much of this video, it is on perfect time! How do you find the printing quality of Swift POD for very colorful designs? Do they manage to print the smallest details and what about their color palette? Do you get many complains from the customers? Thanks!
The thumbnail zooming in issue has been a thing for me too. At least the last year. I often have to do it 4 or 5 times before the thumbnail change "sticks"
Hi Heather! I enjoyed your video. I just opened my Etsy store and I’m so New for print on demand. My question is if I list any holidays T-shirts etc, would I just remove those items after the holidays season done? Thank you!
I am a somewhat self-proclaimed expert at complicating my designs or any project really I work with. I really mean it when I say that EVERY single time I always end up with the simplest design in the end. I get to much into details and end up spending hours on something that becomes to much work in the end and I either give up or end up with a huge cluttered thing just because I zoom in too much on the details. I need some mantras to keep at hand to keep things simple, any suggestions? 🙏🏻
It looks like you need to have Canva pro to do a transparent background, and therefore being able to use any other color of product besides white. Do you think it’s pretty much necessary to do get the pro version and pay the fee? There doesn’t seem to be any way around it since the background thing is a big issue with the free version. Thanks!
Great video again Heather! Question: Your pricing for the sweater seems high to me, but it obviously works for you, you said that you offer Free Shipping-now, do you also have a Sale going on every day as you had recommended us to do so in previous videos? If so, the price makes sense once Free Shipping and the Discount is applied.
Hi Brit, yes I do include free shipping on my sweatshirts and that is why my sweatshirts are higher priced. If I did not include I would price in high 20's at $27 to $34 instead. Hopefully this helps! :)
Beginners Question, but who's printing and shipping the items? Is the customer printing the graphic and ironing on their own shirt, or is a company creating and shipping for you after an order is placed? I really enjoyed your video, thanks for so much info!
Hi Heather do you ever tell your audience that their png images need to be at a certain resolution minimum for printing? The standard is 300 dpi so I always do that. But I don't see enough POD gurus talking about this.
Hi Heather, thank you so much for sharing this information with us. I am wondering if you could please let me know what do you do after listing your products on Etsy? Do you dropship them through Printify or do you purchase the printed sweatshirts, store them at home and then deliver them yourself as they're ordered on Etsy? That part wasn't quite clear to me, I hope you read my message, thank you!
I suggest focusing on evergreen niches when it’s November. Generally the chance to rank right now is low and evergreen items(really most niches) sell in the holidays but the reason to design for evergreen right now is because after the holidays are over your sales will not continue. Some people chase holidays- which is great for a ‘cash injection’ around this time of year, and others strategy is evergreen for consistent sales. I like to lean on the evergreen side and you do see a double to triple in revenue in each niche, whether it’s seasonal or holiday. Hopefully this helps!❤️
Hi heather, Actually I am facing a issue in my etsy shop ! When my customer try to buy my product, It says '' ALL THE PAYMENTS OPTION FOR THIS SHOP ARE TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE"' Please Help !
How many listings would you say you added last year in prep for Christmas and holiday season??? Im ready to start adding listings like crazy! haha but i want to make myself a schedule of what i need to do weekly. Thank you!
I don't know who to listen to. The people who say to come up with unique designs that no one else is doing or to do things similar to designs that are selling already. 🥺
I am no expert, my store is just about a year old and I’m still working towards my first 100 sales, but I would say there is a mix of seeing what people want and giving them a unique version of it. If you copy others it is possible for you to be reported and could jeopardize your listing or shop. I try to make things based off of what I see people searching for but what I’m passionate about so I can give my unique perspective on it. Don’t be afraid to try and adjust from what you’re seeing. At least then you have something to work with. I was most stuck with how to start. Don’t give up!
According to canva rules, I thought we couldn't use their graphics "as is" without altering them in some way so as to make it our own. Shouldn't the Cristmas trees design have some sort of text or another element?
Canva has stated that if you incorporate two elements together this is considered altering of the graphics and designs. I have emailed them directly about the designs I post since I am on TH-cam and these are approved use due to I have 4 tree elements. If I used only one tree as is, this would be against their terms and conditions. I suggest to anyone who's hesitant to post a design to send a screenshot of your design to Canva's support if still questioning your own designs and if they are okay to use. Hopefully this helps! :)
Hi, I have a question about Seller's Policies: I'm considering adding to my listing pictures an invitational quote to favorite the listing such as 'save it for later' 'heart it so you don't miss it' or something similar.
