I like the smooth sides with no brand logo on it. It leaves it open to do some engraving as you did. Very nice looking chassis. Looking to get one very soon.
Great review Ray! I'm in Hickory too and didn't know about this company. I gotta say it's one of the prettiest looking chassis I've seen. I love the wood and metal combination! Just a beautiful rifle!
The action/barrel not being centered might have something to do with the Origin action. I've had my Origin (also setup for .223 AI ironically) in an MPA BA Comp, MDT ACC and a Manners T4A and in all of them, the barrel favors one side more than the other. I'd say try another action first before totally blaming the chassis. Other than that, thanks for the review. I've seen the Woox chassis and thought it was a nice combination of wood and metal but just never tickled my fancy too much. I do like the push button release for the cheek riser so I might give them a try.
I hope to see you do more with the 223 AI, the economy(price wise), availability, and range of the caliper make it a caliber I am really interested in.
This may be more of a DPG but you mentioned that the Woox chassis could accommodate a 1.250" barrel, Woox says they can only free float a 1.20" barrel. Did DPG have to modify the chassis?
Between Woox’s “Cobra” and “Furiosa” stocks, I can’t tell which one I want more!! Can’t wait to see them make both those types of stocks for poppular, older models that are still commonly used like rem 74xx and 76xx series’.
Whats your opinion the zermatt action. I havent played with as many actions as you have but love how smooth they are and i also prefer controlled round feed.
Beautiful rifle. The barrel channel would really make unhappy, only because of the price tag. I would except that from a cheap one but not for 1400 plus bottom metal
All beautiful but there’s no instructions anywhere about how to adjust the stock when there’s a bit of wobble between stock and fore end. Only 1 ‘o’ in furiosa.
i saw one of those a guy was walking around the shoot with an empty chassis on his buggy,, it looked awesome.. i love the wood,, so smooth and classic.. :D
Great review. I am a fan of Woox. I couldn't help obsessing over you putting rounds through a new barrel without breaking it in. Maybe I missed something....
Barrel break in on a high quality precision barrel is completely unnecessary. Just shoot it, clean it, and then keep shooting it until the copper deposition/velocity climb stabilizes around 150-200rds in. Then just clean out carbon as necessary to maintain accuracy
youtube.com/@XRING I know this is a bit of an older video, but I was wondering if you could give me your feedback on how the Woox stock/chassis feels? They are marketed as a Chassis, but they seem more like a hybrid design similar to a Manners with Mini Chassis (which I really like). I know you have a lot of experience with a variety of different stocks and chassis. I would mainly like to know if the Woox feels a little more like a hybrid stock in terms of recoil feedback, shot resonance, etc, or if it will still feel like a giant tuning fork (like many chassis)?

Outstanding selection of music intro.
Beautiful outdoor background

Just a beautiful rifle!
Fantastic review. Bought a Furiosa yesterday. Waiting on some bottom metal and scope, but really liking it. Just can't wait to see how it runs.
The inserts at 13:47 look like the IGUS products we use in airline seat design, makes for a precise yet smooth and accurate movement.
Beautiful rifle. She definitely is a shooter. Thanks for the review Ray.
My favorite channel in TH-cam!!
I appreciate it!
Same here!!
WOOX makes some really beautiful stuff that really flows well.
Your channel is severely underrated.

WOW what a beauty. Wood definitely gives it some class.
I just got one of the regular Furiosa chassis about a month ago. It really is a beautiful rifle and also very functional.
Hi there!! I just purchased same model as you did. I wanted to know does it come with the Arca rail?
First time I saw the Woox chassis was on one of Kenny’s videos. He built a rim x for someone we all know. Beautiful gun.
Great video as always!! Is the arca pre installed from factory or does it need to be purchase separately? Looking forward for your feedback!! Thanks
I’m liking this as my new hunting rifle, not sure what caliber but definitely want that chassis.
Great video. It might help to have a barricade stop on your arca rail. Love the chassis though.
I hope to see you do more with the 223 AI, the economy(price wise), availability, and range of the caliper make it a caliber I am really interested in.

Thank You Sir! Woox did a great job! 👍🇺🇸

Man I'm a sucker for heavy barrel bolt action rifles especially laminate wood or the old high luster real wood stocks
That Woox chassis is beautiful.

Nice improvements over the original version.
Great review.....Wish I could find one on Australia.
Will you ever do a review on a Foundation? I know you’ve said in your videos you like chassis but would love to see your take/opinion on a Foundation.
I learned how gorgeous the Woox chassis are and I think I need one. Your hard on my wallet
love the review on the chassis! how are you liking the Zeiss LRP S3 6-36? been looking at one but there doesn't seem to be a lot of reviews on it
Beautiful rifle. The barrel channel would really make unhappy, only because of the price tag. I would except that from a cheap one but not for 1400 plus bottom metal
Woox makes really cool Axes too. And I don’t know why it bugs me so much, but who came up with “bottom metal” very creative 🥴😂
All beautiful but there’s no instructions anywhere about how to adjust the stock when there’s a bit of wobble between stock and fore end. Only 1 ‘o’ in furiosa.
What a beautiful rifle!!
beautiful rifle
Crazy question but what kind of pants are those
i saw one of those a guy was walking around the shoot with an empty chassis on his buggy,, it looked awesome.. i love the wood,, so smooth and classic.. :D
Throw a bit of skateboard tape on the bottom of the rail to address the slickness of the rail???
That thing is gorgeous!
Ever do a video on the ballhead?
man what is a good looking gun! I want to get one now
Love mine have a bergara b14r in it but it is HEAVY
What is the model of your scope?
Zeiss S3 LRP 636
@@XRING thank you
Is the action bedded?
It's a chassis, not needed.
Thank you 😊
Stunning
If only Woox could make something for the M1A
Chassis aircraft-grade aluminum, hard anodized. Sexy ! 💕a gift for my Dad ! on his birthday ?🤔

정말 멋있네요~~~
Beautiful. Not giving them $1300.
A person could go bankrupt trying to keep up with you.
11:20 try some grip tape.
Be nice if they made one with plastic instead of wood.
They make one in black micarta instead of wood and it looks really nice
It may be a tack driver BUT it does absolutely nothing for me , I would buy a MPA chassis again instead thanks Ray
"WOOX"? Sounds like a Commie chassis to me.
Certainly is an attractive chassis,but...nope! $1400 & I have to buy the bottom metal & rider(that doesnt match the rest of the wood),just nope
