It works, but much better to use Brave browser. It's just an altered version of Chrome, but without trackers etc that spies on you. Can also sync with your PC version. Just go to its settings, click "enable background play, voila! Key thing is that you can still use mobile version of site immediately, no notification hoopla. Desktop view of TH-cam on a 5-6" screen sucks. So tiny its a PIA to see and click.
