The best feature: When the table isn't in use, you have a stripper pole 🤣.

With smaller boats why is the main cabin size sacrificed in order to have walkways on each side? Why not extend the cabin to the edges of the hull and install walkway decks along the sides, similar in construction of the metal scaffolding on the bow? They could even fold upward if the width is a concern while docked at a marina.

Because of the North Sea storm conditions these boats can and do go out in, the people who buy them want to be IN a boat not ON the boat. That's why walkaround pilothouse boats tend to be built around a rugged spec and sports cruisers tend to sell themselves on the lux spec.

@@darthkek1953 I see, but that doesn't really make sense if taken literally. If someone wants to be IN a boat, they wouldn't care about wide walkarounds? The cabin could extend to the hull sides and fenders could be positioned from an open window. From my experience on boats, we did just fine holding onto the side rails and walking one foot after the other in the narrow walkarounds.

Its a safety thing and when needing to walk around the boat, even in bad conditions, thats what sells.

@@riproar11You’re not getting it. These boats are used year round, in all conditions. When there’s snow on deck, when the waves are enormous, at night, and so on. They’re built this way so you can walk safely around the boat in these conditions, and so it’s easier to move quickly if you’re docking alone, When the going gets tough, these boats get going, and this is why they look like this.
