Oh hey, it's you! Scott Shattuck, if you see this, I want to tell you that your arrangement is phenomenal and almost perfect. And ladies, I can't imagine anything sounding more divine than you do in this piece.
To Scott, I personally wish you had continued to the dominant at 2:54 and then resolved it to a very high-energy chord in a new key, perhaps Gb major. I bought the sheet music (to support your great work and learn from it, and save time on attempting a transcription) so I can write an altered ending and satisfy my craving for that climactic moment. And hopefully I can find some angels like the ones you work with to sing it with me for fun! Still, as it is, I can't get this song out of my head...bravo. It's marvelous.
It is like the Christian women of Ravenclaw chose to cast a charm spell via song. What a beautiful number and a group of remarkable young ladies. Thank you for this, if only local “Christmas music“ stations could discover the immense variety of Christmas covers that exist outside the same hundred or so traditional Christmas songs.
Not to criticize you or the song, but I wonder how would you deal with the Bible saying we shouldn't practice sorcery? I mean, since these fantasy fictions usually don't care about Christianity, so they simply wouldn't think of this. So do you think magic and Christianity can coexist hypothetically, or do we need to assume that is a parallel universe that God said white magic is okay? Since I am planning to write a fantasy fiction that talks about Christian values, I want to ask your opinion on this.
