My wife rides a LX. One leg of the stator died. The stator was ok but one of the little screws that attaches the stator output wires to the stator was loose under the goo. I tightened the screw and replaced the goo and all is well.

    Hi,
I have a 99 et8 (4 stroke) , the choke is not getting any power to it, I've just replaced the coil, and I've replaced the relays...could the stator be the problem? Thanks

Hello sir, my engine is Piaggio Fly150, my battery is low and when I started it, it did not start. I checked the ignition system, there is no ignition in the spark plug, I tested the coil, the coil is solid, what should I do next, I would be very happy if you could help me.
Note: My motorcycle does not have an immobilizer, it has an EFI SAE J590B AC20 ECU.

This happened to my LX50 and it was the stator.

@@MsBananasmel Thank you for your answer. I measured it with the stator measuring device. The values are approximately the same at each winding end. I couldn't measure the ignition tip coming to the coil, do you think it might be related to this?

Hello, Thanks for the video, I have MP3 400ie, I like to ask you about the following issues I have: some time ago, when I wanted to open the seat, it did not work using the key, I had to turn on and off the scooter once in order the seat to open. I noticed in the cold weather (few days ago) when I wanted to start the scooter, I heard click when I press the on button and pressing the brake leave and giving a bit of throttle, I have to press it several times until it starts, I checked the battery, the guy told me the battery is good, although it is more than 4 years old, he told me most properly it is the stator, so can you give me an indication whether it is the stator, starter relay or reconditioning the starter motor or change the battery? thanks a lot.

Dude, if it just clicks, and doesn't turn over, most likely culprit is a dead battery. Get a multimeter, and when it does that, check the voltage. if it starts doing that in warm temperatures as well, check the voltage.

@@adamhann7584 No big deal, i dealt with a similar issue on an Yamaha Xmax 125, the battery was at least 5 years old, and the bike was pretty late on maintenance. Glad you got your bike in shape, safe riding.
