man don't be a weenie. bono is an absolute machine. the fact the he can consistently hit a c6 in concert after so many years is an absolute miracle. there are very few singers who even come close. so yah he might've had that "special something" when he was younger, but that shouldn't take away from what amazing singer he is today. i for one am so grateful as a younger u2 fan that there is still the opportunity to see an amazing rock show from such a legendary band.

I Never been to any other concert but U2's I must say this if you go to U2 concert you will never go to no other concerts. They know how to put a killer shows.
Emotion man, Glastonbury is HUGE. It's the first time U2 ever played at it as well. It's hard to imagine at this stage of their career that they still get emotional about their shows but there is nothing quite like it. To have a career as long as theirs and play such an old song and still have people join in. That my friend is the most incredible feeling in the world. The feeling that your work is loved by others, whether it's effected their lives or not. Trust me, being on stage is incredible.

I have to admit i grew up more as a pearl jam/cure/ nirvana/rem fan, but after being too a few concerts i can honestly say that the best band ive ever seen live is u2. I did love pearl jams live concerts, and the early years of nirvanas also , but in terms of just an out of this world epic feel to the show, u2 is the only band other than pink floyd that ive felt that.
Definately agree Shane.. Top 3 gigs i've EVER witnessed are 2"s 89' Lovetown tour, this last 360 tour was seriously close, closely followed by 'the cure' last yr at Sydney Opera House. 3 and a half hours of awesomeness

1:57 - 2:02 he was nervous about being able to hit that note. You can see where he made the distinct effort to slow down and get his breathing right. The irony is that getting nervous about it is so counterproductive. Which is why he only did it one time and then didn’t do it again.

Something he wasnt able to do in the 80s/90s. Just listen to Miss Sarajevo from the Clinton show, when he hit the high note he does it with so much passion. A passion 80s/90s Bono wasnt able to get in his voice.
they played a song that only contains two chords for over 12 minutes. Bono himself knew and admitted that he took it a little too far. It wasn't a bad performance but the song was played for too long. Read my full comment again. I said that it was still a magical live aid performance but it was too long. Anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves. It is a great song but it's not meant to go that long. That's what you'd expect in a Pink Floyd song.
Bono's voice is actually quite good here. I came here to check it out after listening to old 1980s versions. Is it difficult for a singer who often sings falsetto to preserve that range ? Jimmy Page's declined very quickly, in his mid-20s I believe. And awesome that he worked in Jerusalem....
