Beside us Irish fans, we drank a lot of beer together and we could also smoke cigarettes. But things are changing. Was at that show and wasn't planned. On a trip to Italy from Canada, i learned that U2 was in town on the last nigth of our trip, so i left the family alone to go to the stadium and see if i could get a ticket and lukely, I DID. One of my greatest rush i ever had. BAD is also on my list of personnal top songs.
This is the one edition of 'Bad' that I keep coming back to. I believe this may very well be the best live song they've ever done. Hitting at around the 4:25 mark, it is second to none. Vocally, Bono sounds spectacular. The arrangement, mixing, and Edge were absolutely perfect. They were on point this night, and lucky for all of those who were there, and able to absorb it.
Totally agree, having listened to many live performances, this is the best version of their best song. They often have a snippet of another artist's song at the end as a tribute, but in this case the snippet of their own song All I Want Is You was the icing on the cake.

I’ve still never had the experience of hearing Bad live when at the gigs. If I had the money to get tickets for two dates in the same arena I’d would but I generally have to pick one date and hope for the best. My mother was pregnant during Joshua Tree tour 1987 in Edinburgh and she attended so I guess in a weird way I have heard Bad live. Thank you mum for introducing me to U2 weeks before my birth!

i love how bono and the bandmates communicate with eachother when into the session "All I want is you." You can tell they all knew what to do and there was no conflict in terms of what another band member mightve wanted to do. They followed bonos lead and thats what makes a good band great. Working as one to create an awesome experience for the fans. alot of times drummers especially want to do their own thing and it never has the magic that teamwork has. So great job guys in U2!

U2 has been a band for over 40 years and kept their word to themselves and their fans. I saw them in Montreal in 2015 and they were amazing.
