Oh my gosh... you are a savior! I watched so many videos over & over (even in slow motion) bought a book, Beginner's Guide to Crochet, and could not figure out the star stitch. I watched this video ONE time and understand! You are an amazing Crochet teacher! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Thank you for this easy & beautiful tutorial for the star stitch❣️ I’m thinking about trying to make this flat & long enough to then cinch the top to make a beanie hat… my granddaughters love this stitch & the jasmine stitch & I tried to do a beanie with the jasmine stitch & kept messing up & couldnt figure out where i was or how to finish. I was doing a tutorial for a jasmine stitch beanie from top down in the round & I made a mess out of it & finally got frustrated from frogging it over & over again until I quit! 😅 But I’d really like to learn how to make an adult size beanie with the jasmine stitch?🙏🏼😁 Blessings & thank u so very much❣️ 🙋🏻♀️🦋🫶🏻
Raeally you are a grate tutor. I understand very easyly your work. Now lam going to make this beautiful baby blanket to my 6 months grandson. Thankyou for your nice work. LOVE FROM INDIA
I adore this! I’m making a scarf as a gift-can you advise what size hook I should use for a scarf in this pattern using worsted yarn? I’d be very grateful. (The yarn label says “gauge 5 stitches per inch on US #7”, I do t know if that helps.) Thank you for all your wonderful stitches, they are brilliant & it’s so great you’re sharing it with so many. Thank you.
Thank you ❤. For that weight yarn and for the scarf to be a little soft and not stiff I would suggest try a small sample at 7mm hook and see how you feel. If you require more drape than that go up half a hook to a full hook xx
I am so glad I ran across your channel. I have tried without success to master this stitch, and I have to say your tutorial is the one that finally made it happen! Thank you.
I'm using this stitch to make a baby blanket. I chained 100 chains per your instructions in the tutorial. I'm just curious how many rows I should do? I'm using a #4 weight yarn and a size K 6.50 mm hook. The pattern is easy and beautiful. Thank you so much for the excellent tutorial.
Hi! There’s no particular number of rows. If you want to Make a square blanket just make the height as the width you get with your 100 chains. Or if you want to make a rectangle, continue on with the height x
@@CrochetByNora Thank you so much for your reply. I haven't decided yet whether or not to make it square or rectangle. Thank you again for the wonderful tutorial!
How many what sorry? Chains? Whatever hook you’re using and yarn do a small sample and see what the width becomes then multiply upwards until the width you need
Also I love how you show close up as I'm an older crocheter 74 years young and need the close up..💖💖
Thank you ❤
Very cute I will try for my daughter 🎉many thanks ❤

Using a 4 weight, what size hook should you use? Love the pattern and thank you.
You’re welcome ❤. I’d try a 6.5mm or 7mm for a no 4 yarn. I always advise to try a small sample see how it feels before you begin the bigger project
❤ thank you
