  • The plastic Warhammer scenery for The Old World gets a re-release this weekend and I happen to have some in need of painting so it seemed an ideal time for a 30 minute scenery tutorial!

    So helpful, my Manor House will be here next weekend and definitely trying this! Need somewhere for my Shadow Warriors to hide when playing at home.

    Nice video. Saved and I shall follow your tutorial for the mansion tower as this is exactly how I want mine to look. Just ordered my Fortified Mansion this week. £66.60 from Sophie at SWALK powerstation Road Sheerness

    so the hills dont come pre-grassed etc, i was assuming similar too the old goblin/ork hut/town thing

      No they're bare grey plastic, not like the old pre-flocked ones they used to sell that nothing would stand upright on!

    So, do you do a video where you explain why you don't use a wet or dry palette for your paints? Or is this just for painting your terrain features?

      I sometimes use a palette when painting individual miniatures, but TBH, since they widened the paint range to the degree where I no longer need to mix paints as much, I've gotten out of the habit and tend to just paint straight from the pot. Or, at best, I use the back of my hand as a palette when dry brushing.
