Hey Kat, hope you are well. Plan and Action Item isn't available on my side when step by step following the setup. I have a MacBook Pro not sure if you have had other people with similar problems, would greatly appreciate your assistance thanks.
Hey there! For the video, yes you can just delete it just click on the dots to the left of the block and delete the whole block :) For the Plan & Action items, when you open a new goal there should be an option to click the “New Goal” template which will populate the page. If you happen to accidentally start typing in the page it will disappear, so just be sure to click that first. If you still have questions feel free to shoot me an email so I can send examples!

great job on your first video, I subscribed immediately! here are some of my follow up questions: would love to learn more about Notion as a total beginner. for example.. is this all connected to your phone? can you get reminders on there? and do you make notion a part of your every day habit? would love to know what your daily routine is with using it realistically. also.. can you make a visual monthly calendar appear that has all the tasks listed on there? I ask this because when I can’t see a calendar everything seems very overwhelming/vague. I’m reluctant to try to use another app but notebooks aren’t working anymore to help me fulfill my long term goals. thank you!
Thank you! Those are all really great questions. I’m planning a daily Notion routine video, so hopefully that will answer a lot of your questions! I love using the Notion desktop app, but it is on your phone too. You can set yourself reminders using the date property and if you set your database view to “Calendar” it will show as a monthly calendar!

Hi! I just bought your life planner and trying to get it set up - I am trying to set up a smart goal with a goal amount and number done like you have done in the video, but my properties look different, so I am thinking you have updated something in the template since this is almost a year old. Can you walk me through how to do it on the updated template? Thanks!
Hey!! Since you bought the life planner, it is a bit different. It's connected directly to your task list so it counts the number of tasks you add to the task table automatically as your total number and number done. If you have a goal that's based solely on numbers, I am adding support for that within the next few weeks so be sure to sign up for email updates on the template and keep an eye out in your email!! Hope that helps 🫶

Hey! No worries, I’m excited that you’re diving into Notion! The link in my description will send you the free template. Once you’ve created a Notion account, you can hit the “duplicate” button on the top right and it will make a copy in your personal Notion space. In the duplicated page, you’ll need to hop in the page settings on the top right corner and “unlock” the page. Then you can edit as you wish! Let me know if you have any more questions!

Watching this knowing damn well I'll probably just implement all these ideas into a google sheets spreadsheet instead of trying out Notion lmao
(Notion is probably good at some stuff that sheets isn't, though for what I do most of the time which is a lot of data adding day to day, like things I've accomplished or my moods or whatever, I find so far sheets works great for me. Have even started a reading tab in my 2023 sheet and have figured out progress bars and everything! I added those for my reading and also for the year, month, week, and day progress lol)
😂 that’s totally fine! It’s all about finding what works for you!
@@itskatwaugh haha yea! I know right now my current system for things is a combination of ticktick, todoist, sheets and docs and while i might not necessarily have a need for notion itself, these sorts of videos provide a lot of inspiration for improving my own stuff further 😇
