Jesus said many will be lost; few will find eternal life. Not surprising, given this is the modern teaching that so, so many embrace, which is deception. It's scary to hear in the lyrics of this song, "And some day on thee I'll stand, And there my home shall be, ... And then I'll take my heavenly flight". As if to imply with certainty, if one has faith, or maybe even claims to believe in God they are assured a pass into heaven. That's a scary falsehood. No one is guaranteed a place in heaven. We must obtain perfection of character to make it. And, any of the most seemingly godly people, can fall of the straight and narrow, loosing their soul.

My sweet husband, Norman "Barry" Almand went to heaven on 10/18/22 after a lengthy illness. He wanted this song done at his graveside memorial service. This was his only request of music. He was honored with this done by our quartet on 1/7/23. Thank you for this beautiful rendition of this song.

I cry when I hear this because my grandpa favorite song was this and he sang it every time we went out on the country sadly unexpectedly he passed away but I love you grandpa your not homesick anymore 🥹😭
My parents loved this song and we had it sung at both of their funeral services. I miss them every day but know they are in Heaven.

Squire Parsons singing this song which he wrote. He wrote many many beautiful songs, but this one is to me the most beautiful of them all.
This song was played at my dad's funeral right after I sang Amazing Grace. I completely lost my composure when my cousin sang this. A true southern hymn. I love this.
I lost my son on Thanksgiving of 2016 in a hit and run he was 23. This reminds me that one day i'll be able to see him again. I miss him so much.

When I was a teenager, Squire Parsons visited our church and sang this song. It meant so much to me as my best friend had recently died. That was a long long time ago. My friend has been gone longer than he lived. I think about childhood friends when I hear this song. God bless you all.

Since Unlucky Friday 13th March I have been limited to two window visits a week, but I bought my sweet Ann an I-phone and somebody holds it for her the other five days and I have not missed a day for the last 315 days. And a late March Facebook post about it went viral to national news TV shows Chcek out John Kline singing through the window. God bless you.

Mom loved singing Gospel music. This song was Dad’s favorite.

My dad had an amazing voice. He made me take piano as soon as I had teacher who would take me. She retired when I was 12. My aunt taught my chord. Thank God. I sang with Lionel Harris. Steve Green. Cindy Morgan, and Mark Schultz. But I can't hardly listen to squire parsons. It makes me dad too much.
Thank God for Judson college in Marion Alabama. We were very blessed.
My Grandmother died from bone marrow cancer on December 2, 1988. Laying in her hospital bed, she sang this song till she was horse. At the moment she passed, she stopped singing and with a clear voice and clear eyes she said, " I see Jesus"!!! " "What does he look like, mama", my uncle asked. She pointed to everyone in the room and said, " He looks like you.". Don't tell me God doesn't exist. I saw him that day as clear as I see my own kids. I saw him through her eyes. This song is my hope for the Heaven that we believer's will go to. I'll see her again and my Grandfather, too. I can't wait.

I wrote Beulah Land in January of 1973 while in the city of Jericho with Ivan Parker and Howard &Vestal Goodman. For some reason I had a hemophilia bleeding and nearly died. They all prayed in tongues over me until my bleeding staunched.
We're almost there. Hold your heads up. All will be repaid. So don't quit. It is worth it all.
