Hearing Squire sing this trophy song always fills my heart with joy and gladness ... no greater blessing in life than knowing Jesus!
I have always loved this song but it is even more special to me now. When my husband was in Hospice in February 2018 and very soon to go to Heaven, my daughter and I was singing Beulah Land while holding his hand as he took his last breath and entered Heaven !! I also had it sung at his Funeral by our grandson and his wife. It will always be very special to me and I always cry when I hear it now as it holds a very precious memory for me!
Along with many many others this is my theme song of longing to be with Jesus and loved ones who have gone before.
Now 74 and widowed after my beloved wife, Lynne, left earth nearly two years ago for Heaven's Beulah Land, I tear-up every time I hear brother Parsons sing this great classic from the heart.🎼💛🎶🙏👉☝

The most beautiful song that Squire Parsons ever wrote...among many, but this one is the most beautiful of all, to me.
My Mama battled breast cancer for 7 years. One Sunday morning she was nearing the end of her life when she requested someone sing her "homecoming" song. We didn't know that song. That night, our Pastor's wife came in and sang to her. This was the last song she sang....this was the song my Mama had waited all day to hear...within minutes she had reached Beulah Land. She was sung into heaven. This song will forever bring tears to my eyes. Well done!

This was at Anderson University's Reardon Auditorium Anderson,Indiana. I was there. What a Blessing it was.

My Daddy battled cancer. Also he decided to not take treatments for it. He had bladder cancer. He ask my sister and I to have this and the holy city sang at his funeral. My brother, sister and I miss him everyday.

Most wonderful anointed heaven sent voice I've heard in all my days of listening to gospel music.
Probably the best rendition of this song! It has always been Squire's signature song and here he does it with the ideal quartet to round it off. So sad to know that meanwhile Squire has already arrived in Beulah Land, but at least we have wonderful memories of his singing, and some day when we have also passed over, we can look him up and sing with him!.
