Thank you for this video on unsearched rolls! I started with a lot of coins I had held on to for over 50 years and then I began looking at Ebay and my questions were exactly what you had said, "how do they know the dates within the roll, if they were never searched?" That to me was a dead give away! Don't waste your time and money. Prior to learning this however I had bought a package of 1000 wheat pennies but after getting them I was sorry, they were so black and almost felt like grease and dirt mixed in with them and I had no idea how to clean them off without destroying them or devaluing them and I still don't know what to do with them. How do you clean them? I also found coins that someone had poured plastic or resin on the fronts in an effort to keep them from tarnishing, I guess, but what can be done with them? Some again were painted only on the front and that paint was so close to being exact that it was amazing! Others had glue or something that looked like tar and once again I have zero idea how to get it off! Does anyone have any suggestions? I am stumped!!!!
Thanks! Frist time here! I will be back here often
Fun watching you guys I will be here all of the time thanks its 5:49
I have a brown 1927 no mint, decent shape Lincoln Wheat. Found on a restaurant floor years ago. Apart from age, it is my dad's birth year.
Hope Charlani & Rob had a great Xmas !!
