- Basic introductory Ansys Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation tutorial
1. Creating a 3D CAD model in Ansys SpaceClaim, a space with a ducted fan and a heater, using sketch, pull, move, volume extract, share topology (group)
2. Generating a mesh for a CFD simulation in Ansys Meshing, deleting contacts, local mesh sizing
3. Simulation setup and solving in Ansys Fluent, generating mesh interfaces, adding momentum and energy sources
4. Post-processing in Ansys Fluent and CFD-Post, contours, streamlines, volume rendering

No words but all the help😂
Great work
Great video! In my case, when i try to uptade my mesh to the workbench, i doesnt let me do it due to overlapping geometry in named selections. How can I fix this problem?
Good job! One question where can i get a faithfull software for free? thanks
It's ansys for free only for students
Thank you for your tutorial. Can you explain why source team for fan is 80 n/m^3. What does that unit stand for?.
Hi, that would be a momentum source [N/m^3]
= (Mass flow rate [kg/s] x Average velocity [m/s]) / Volume of the zone [m^3],
meanwhile an energy source [W/m^3]
= (Mass flow rate [kg/s] x Specific heat capacity [kJ/kg/°C] x Temperature difference [°C]) / Volume of the zone [m^3]
