Yuriy always said keep your eye on the hammer. #1. This was from Bondarchuk. I learned so much from him. Shout out to Szymon Ziółkowski who trained the Polish throwers, who got 4 out of 6 medals at Tokyo.

Oh F. I didn't know. Litvinov died recently too. I guess whatever they were taking wasn't very healthy long term :(

Forget about everything just look at their body size..... present days they are all like muscular wild 🐻 where as those days the players were just like ordinary people with normal thigh and arms...🤣

And still most of them used to be on steroids. That's most likely why the 80s record still holds up.

You are smoking some boy, fajdek isn't that much bigger, its just the footage. Sedych weighed 110 kg with less fat and fajdek 120 kg

You are stopping the film and saying that he is landing flat footed, that is not the case. He lands toe first on every turn, he drives the rigjt leg so hard into the ground, that the heel lands just for a micro second, but it never stops rotating. Landing flat footed and landing toes first then having the heel land are entirely 2 different things, sir! If you land flat footed you are going to slow your rotation. Only a very few 4 turners ever landed on a flat foot after the landing of number 1, only a very few. There has never been a great 3 Turner that did not land toe heel. Study the film closer......you can not rotate efficiently on a flat landing foot, which he does not do! I have watched that particular throw, literally for thousands of hours comparing it to Litvinov and others, Sedykh, does not land flat footed. The pad of his foot takes pressure before the heel contacts for a micro second!
Contrary to this watch Litninov, he clearly does not drive the right leg nearly as aggressively as Sedykh does so he has a very high right heel. He has an extra turn to build rotary momentum.
Anyhow, stopping the film and saying that Sedykh lands flat footed is simply not correct.
