Hey, nice bike 👍 I picked up mine from Team Cycles around a month ago. Swapped out the wheels for Zipp Moto 2 carbon wheelset and Magic Mary front, Big Betty rear. Changed the brakes to Code Stealth Ultimate with H2 Rotors. Removed the Gx for XX T Type transmission and like you fitted 170mm Axs Reverb. Hope silver stem and pedals, along with One Up carbon bars. Ergon grips and saddle. So changed a lot, hence the reason for buying the base model as I has the components already. Kept the 160mm 36 Fox Fork but fitted the grip 2 damper and fitted the bleed valves whilst fitting the Fox mudguard. I did this all myself, so you will have to possibly drop the motor to remove the standard dropper cable. I did but I was fitting the new brakes too and re routing them as they aren't in the best position for the rear brake. However, I think you could just slacken off the bolts where the bottle mounts fit and the smaller one a bit further up the down tube. As this holds the guide inside the frame for all the hose and cables. You should then be able to simply pull the dropper cable housing out. I removed the battery also to achieve the install but you should be fine with just this. Remember to tighten the bolts up again after. I fitted an Invis kit also that has now just been released, definitely recommend, it takes an Age but keeps it protected. I was considering changing out the cranks but not sure whether to go with Hope or Forx, both in the same 155mm. I've used Hope on many bike builds but the Forx are really smart and similar to Dev5 in style. Can you confirm the Q Factor the bike supplier fitted for you? Enjoy it pal, mine is an absolute game changer. The frame quality is top drawer and I e seen many over the years. Stay safe pal 👌👍
Great choice Iain, Look forward to upcoming video, Oot wae wrecking crew,John on the camera. What can go wrong😂. All the best over the festive period ladz 🍺
