Wow, this LEMT is big, I mean huge! I can’t imaging there ever being a bigger smartwatch. But you know what? It looks OK on. It doesn’t look out of place in my opinion. It definitely attracts attention, especially if you set the screen to always on (you can do that with the Floating Toucher app I have in the Smartwatch Resource Center, link below). Besides, the battery can handle it without running out right away.
For the longest time we longed for a bump up to the LEMFO LEM4 and then LEM4 PRO, but none of us expected this! For you gamers out there, whom I am sure will be buying one of these, please let us know if it meets your expectations, OK? I guess we could say the LEMFO LEM T is a “game changer” in many ways. Qu8estion : is there any Rotation control working on the LEM T ? It is old now using Android 6 only.
Its nearly a year now since this watch was launch. When is the souped up lemfo lem 4 pro with the big battery/4g and outdoor screen/ip68 coming out? I need to replace my kospet prime since it went red hot during its first video conference and now the mic fails after 5 minute.
Ouch! Gotta keep an ice cube in a ziplock next time I guess. No word on an enhancement, but the best on the market now is the TicWris MAX. Check it out, especially the firmware.
question for smartwatch ticks, i want to grab one of these smartwatches. my issue with buying would be functionality. My basic needs for this watch would be, being able to screen mirror, as well as using a bluetooth earbud for sound. netflix, youtube, web surfing, etc etc. do you need a sim card when using any of these, or can this watch complete all the functions while connected to wifi? in your opinion, which of these smartwatches is the best version? the watch detaching from the band base is a huge plus for me.

What happened to me to start watching your videos is your energy, voice and futuristic way of you showing us many unknown smart watches world vide. So thanks for your hours and hours so we can just have more chance to choose before buying new smart watch.
OMG please help me before I shatter this damn thing with a mallet. I CANNOT find the lock screen settings on the lem t. There is no screen setting in the menu like there is with the ticwris. Somehow I put the pattern lock in, immediately hated it, and have no idea what menu got me there in the first place.
So sorry John, you may be totally skrewed. My experience with Android 7 has been you can't even get to the factory restore setting. With no pattern unlock, the only way in is to reflash the firmware. So I need to send you to www.fullandroidwatch.org and hopefully they can take you through the process and set you up with the flashing software for a PC and the image file for the LEM T firmware. Good luck!
Does anyone know for definitely the lemfo lem 10,11 and the lemT does it require a sim card or can sms WhatsApp be a push notifications and able to reply via the watch without needing to insert a sim card ?
I guess you would either need to install the WhatsApp app directly on the watch and use it while on WiFi, or rely on pushes from your tethered phone app. Unfortunately, the phone companion apps for all of these Android watches are not very good. Some users are using one or more of these 3rd party apps to improve phone tethering (and, perhaps, even tethered phone calling):

Okay.... As always... I love your review and dedication. This... watch is simply TOO big! It's no longer a watch! It's a phone with straps. If they could only make the older models a tiny bit better in specs and put on a truly edge to edge screen on it, I would be game ;)
This LEM T is really a size for gaming and easy reading use. It would be nice to see a bump to the LEMFO LEM4 PRO with the features you mention. That one was a really good size, and with removable bands, you could slip it in your pocket or hold it in your hand.
Chinese Smartwatches are like a gateway drug... I started with an earlier Lemfo unit and worked my way up to a Kospet Hope. Now my old eyes and fat fingers have convinced me I need this marvelous monstrosity. Ordered one 3 weeks ago, I am eagerly awaiting its arrival!

You should try that liquid screen protection stuff. They just put it on and after it drys you cant even tell anything is on there. It works great to I've dropped my phone several times and its keep the screen from getting scratched or broken yet you get the same experience as not having anything on the screen.

I have the lemfo pro 4 and yeah I love it but I wish Lemfo updated their products with tweaks and proper OS rollouts. Memory optimization has always been an issue. I would love for this to remain snappy and not laggy what so ever.
Not sure what the future holds for the LEM4 line. IT would be nice to see it keep up with its new big brother.

Yes it works on AT&T, no expandable memory.

Now back to those two fitness apps...when can I get those to download? As a daily runner, having the LEMT being able to track my runs via gps would ensure I buy this watch.
The apps aren't available yet for download as they still have several issues, most of which is they don't link properly to the Google Maps api, so the tracks are against a flat empty background. There are some new updates to the Kospet Prime showing promise for a stabilized fitness app, and it it's released as a standalone app, that could be what you want. We aren't there yet though. It does grow on you.
The ultimate answer for wrist-worn phone-like smartwatches like this is a flexible screen on a flexible band, as lightweight as possible. And perhaps a next-gen battery, whenever such a thing comes around. And next-gen software architecture which runs more efficiently than what we have now. This seems a very small step in that direction. But the real trick is making such flexible display tech durable.
There's only one thing we need for this to be a reality, and that's the next-gen. This is the current-gen, so you get what's state of the art now. Check back in about 5 years (perhaps 6 'cause of the virus) and I think you'll be happy.

Can’t get the WiFi to work to set up my watch can you tell me what I’m doing wrong
Sure. Think of your watch as an Android phone. To turn on WiFi on a phone, you'd go to Settings, then Connection, then WiFi. Another way would be to swipe down on your phone to open a panel with touch spots to activate WiFi or Bluetooth, etc. If you touch and hold the WiFi spot, it would open the same window that you got to through settings. Now switch to your watch, which i a small Android phone.
Basically you can use the same two approaches. From a swipe over to the app drawer you can scroll down to Settings, then scroll down to connections and then touch WiFi. A shorter way is to swipe down from your watch face and scroll right or left to the screen with icons on it, one of which looks like the WiFi one. Touch and hold to go to the exact same page.
So we're there on both your Android phone and Android watch, right?
OK, now turn the toggle switch at the top to the on position to activate WiFi. Wait a few moments for the screen to populate with all the WiFi routers that you find in your area. Pick yours, enter the password, and connect. There. Both your phone and Android smartwatch are now on WiFi. Touching in the password field should have brought up the keyboard on both your phone and watch. At this point you are either happy you set up an easy to tyre out password for your router, or probably frustrated on your watch with switching from letters to numbers to symbols just to enter your password. At this point I recommend that, before you even start all this, you check the password on your router to make sure it will be easy to enter on your watch keyboard. Hope this helps!

Yes, it was an intro to tandem watches, the PRIME and LEM T. I used the intro twice as most folks besides regular fans will likely watch one or the other, but not both. Glad you noticed! Bet you thought, "I've already seen this video!"

Do you know if the charging cable is universal? I have seen 4 pin charging cables on ebay and didn't know if it would work.
No they are not! Some reverse the power pins and using the wrong one can burn out the watch. The LEM T uses a specialized dock. A standard magnetic charging cable won't work because it won't stay in place.
how to adjust the volume while watching You tube on the DM100 ?????
My favorite way is to install Floating Toucher and setting up the volume+ control on the main screen, that way I can touch the dot and bring it up on top of TH-cam and adjust the volume then put it away. You can find Floating Toucher here: tinyurl.com/androidwatches

Due to Apple restricting access to the iOS for file transfers, I don't think it is possible to transfer files. You may be able to do it with Apple's approved file transfer system, be that iTunes or something else.

GF's Galaxy SM-R810 smart watch can do Bluetooth calling so has this watch updated to allow that? Also does this watch have iQ wireless charging along with stress and REM sleep monitoring?
No, this is an Android smartwatch not a WearOS watch, so none of the features you mention are supported in this or any other Android 7.1.1 based smartwatch. Of course, the WearOS watches can't run a fraction of the many standard Android apps available, so you really need to focus on what you want to have in a smartwatch.

I'm not concerned about making calls with the Lemfo (I'm actually more interested in the LEM4 Pro due to it's smaller size), I just more or less want it to function as a watch, REM sleep and stress monitor and maybe be able to watch a TH-cam video here and there if I don't wanna pull my phone out.
The LEM4 Pro will do Bluetooth Calling because it runs on Android 5.1 and has the special app in it. The LEM T is on Android 7.1.1 and Bluetooth calling doesn't work on that version.

When you say on the fitness so it doesn't show you the Google map but it shows you the track. Do you mean basically blank map? If so, I can fix that easily! Just need to add proper google map API key to the fitness app itself. Let me know if you want that 👍

It can stay that size...but has to be 1/10 of the thickness, bendable or curved... the strap should begin at the front (wrist). If it won't fit under a cuff please don't call it a watch...

I ask as other smartwatches (kospet) says app not compatible with the android os that is on these smartwatches. This os on the lenfo lem t looks similar.
No idea. I haven't tested those. Plus you would probably need to test them with a SIM and data plan as I doubt you'd be sitting in a WiFi zone using these apps.

Hi, only these two apps (mapmyfitness and uber driver app) do not install at all.
Just says "app not compatible" with this version. Seems to be the case on other android smartwatches. Everything else installs except these, and with/without sim card/wifi etc.
All other apps install just fine.
Possibly Android smartwatch operating systems have minor limitations on certain apps, compared to a phone version of full android?
Does this support contactless payments? Also, can the unwanted inbuilt apps be removed or completely disabled?
No NFC in this one so no payments supported (not on any pure Android watches yet). I haven't tried deleting stock apps, but you should at least be able to disable them.

I have! Several time. It takes a bunch of work to set it all up each and every time, so I do those as special videos. Look for one with a Dick Tracy cartoon thumbnail. It will show you Hangouts running from both the watch side and phone side.

Sorry, not possible at all. Only a new model with upgraded Android level will do it. I've only seen firmware updates on these, not entire OS updates like on phones.

Congratulations! Go to settings, then connect, then turn on WiFi, select your router, and enter your password. You can load your photos by connecting the charging wire to your computer USB and turning on "transfer files" option on the watch when asked on the notifications screen. You can also install apps like AirDroid to wirelessly transfer music, photos and files from a phone or tablet to your watch. Enjoy!

Yes, it will receive notifications from your paired phone but you need a separate SIM card in the watch for making and receiving calls.
