Probably the movie that had the biggest effect on me in my childhood. As I close in toward age 30, I still remember this one with fondness. It will forever remain one of my favourites.
This was my favorite movie when I was a kid, and now it is one of my son's favorite movies, too (he is four). A good movie is a good movie regardless of when it was made.
I remember when I was little this was my favorite song and when I got older I could never remember how it went, and today, for the first time in ten years, I remembered and I found this :D I'm so happy. I miss being an innocent child, completly oblivious to all the problems in this world! ♥
This was my Elementary school graduation song; both this version and the Linda Ronstant version. 5th grade class of 1992! Brings back so many memories.
I'm 32 years old.. will be 33 in just a few days.. This song still pulls at my heart strings and there are no movies like this in the world these days. People wonder what happened to the world? We stopped watching .. or caring to watch movies like this one. .... Simple...
i totally agree with you. i grew up watching this, space balls and original star wars. i'm just a few years younger than you are. i'm 25. i wish they'd make movies like this again. bring back the good stuff from back then.
Kay -when I have kids they are watching this movie.... and many others that were made a long time ago. Instead of stuff from now and who knows what kind of crack cartoons they'll make in the future. I just.. this has so much meaning to me and it's not leaving me life
When I have kids, i'm going to make sure they don't grow up by wacthing the shows that are today, I'm going to make them and grow up by watching these old times :') just the way how i did.
I grew up with this movie, and my parents would always never find out how i got the tape in the VCR and i wake them up when i was crying. This is classic, and no, they dont make good cartoons like this, with family value, or thought.
Im 20, and...I see this movie so many times in my life! And Still love it...in Spanish version: Alla fuera, alguien que me quiere, esta pensando en mi, bajo la luna gris♥
When I heard this on the Fievel and Friends album on TH-cam I did say that Fievel sounded more like a female. Tanya Mousekewitz is my favorite character of the series.
Damn, you're old! XD Nah, I'm just kidding. I was born in 1990, so I'm right behind you. Yeah, the 80s and 90s had some great cartoons. I wish I could say the same for what we have now.
They don't make cartoons like this anymore. I'm so glad to be an 80's kid and grew up in the 90s to see these cartoons. They don't make cartoons like this anymore and I feel so sorry for the kids now that grow up watching 3D star wars and 3D Babar and 3D everything with absolutely no substanance what soever. I'm 28 now but I must sound old lol
@254696 completely agree with you. I'm 27 now, but watching what kids have now, it's no wonder creativity is a dying art. There's no substance, they just use CG to replace it
I remember watching this when I was little!! Back then, all the cool movies were like this!!! This was a when the Disney Channel was CARTOONS!!!! And the shows had lessons in them, like tell kids to all ways tell the truth and being responsible. Now its all drama and its a bunch of crap!! I miss those days!!!!
I have an old picture of me watching this with my eyes dead set on the tv the picture also was old school but you can still make out the tv, now people are to busy with there phones, no more real art it's all computer doesn't give artist optimizum does it
im 21 n thats pretty much what my grandpa used to tell me when i watch these kinda cartoons, so do u have any idea what this makes u sounds like?? i mean stand agains 3D cartoons?? really??? lol
@atx2sundago There are still traditional artists selling their work, sure people want contemporary but a lot of people would like realistic paintings. I agree with you that films should go back and take inspiration from films like this because most of the new 3D ones are rubbish.
@254696 absolutely right Mr. when i'll have kids of my own...i'll make them watch stories with lessons...just like the old times...i'm 17 now...and we have the same opinion Mr.
@254696 Oh I absolutely love An American Tail and other old cartoons and I am 12 and still own the first edition on video from when I was 4. I also agree that the new cartoons have absolutely no substance, plot or meaning whatsoever
@254696 Nah man, I'm 25, 26 on October 1st and kids I know don't want to watch these movies. If it's not something from the 'Disney Channel', they say it's no good and completely ignore it.
@254696 But youre right im 29 getting this year 30 people like you and me should do somthing against those stupid 3d cartoons with no story just with blah blah dialogs a child which grows up today cant look tv anymore and thats a pitty we had both in our time good tv and we went out playing with the neigbours today the children nearly only watch tv and crap like spongebob teletubbis and heman disney should get back to its roots youtubeusers who think like me lets do somthing save the world
