They have their own personal assistants that handle everything for them. Airline perks mean little to someone who owns his/her own personal jet. Hotel perks are meaningless when you can just have your people arrange your bookings in the finest suites of the best hotels etc. Of what benefit are cruise ship perks to someone who owns their own yacht or can charter one whenever they feel like it? No this card is only of interest to those who have to work for a living such as top level attorneys or business people who have a high level of income but still have to work very hard to make it and usually the card is issued to the business and used by the individual. There is a big difference between multi-millionaires and billionaires. I doubt people like Bezos would be found anywhere near a commercial airline or cruise ship.

We have a family business, a lady once walked in and gave me this card to charge for a hefty purchase that she decided on in less than 2 minutes. I inserted it into the machine and it showed an error (my fault). I looked at her and said ‘ma’am, maybe you’ve run out of money on this card’ She laughed for 5 minutes straight. It’s only later I found out that she was one of the elite in Hong Kong😂😂😂
The problem we have is because Most people always taught that " you only need a good job to become rich " . These billionaires are operating on a whole other playbook that many don't even know exists.

Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others. As an investor, you should've known that by now that nothing beats experience and that's final. Personally I had to reach out to a stock expert for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to $35k, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I'm buying again.

Back in the early 90's I was a sales rep for a telco company out for a meal with a number of colleagues. The bill came and the 'Amex Topper' Game was played - this is where the lowest card also paid for the the highest card's meal. So there was the usual card's/corporate green cards, a few gold cards one platinum card (mine) and then from the quietest guy at the table a black Centurion card lands on the top of the pile. Everyone stop talking. We had heard of it, but never seen one. The owner, said, 'Not to worry lads, it's on me tonight'. The waiter called over the Manager, as he had not heard of or seen one, the manager also had not seen one. The guy chuckled and said he should call Amex and just read out the name and number and things would be verified. The manager did so and as the bill was processed we got two bottles of Champagne, on the house, to finish the evening. When pressed by the people on the table all he said was 'You have to be invited to own one and it works everywhere, even if the place does not accept Amex'. Never seen one since.
My coworker and friend in France has one. He's not making over $1M a year, but he easily puts $250K a year on it. The card has helped us with restaurant reservations, like getting into the Jules Verne restaurant in the Eiffel Tower, on 2 days' notice, which usually takes 6 months or longer to get. Otherwise, its the same concierge you get with the Platinum AMEX card. We've traveled to Dubai on the card and I've never seen the extra airport help/special check in/or private security line you mention.
Disaggree - it is a separat team supporting 24/7. It is about your whishes and what you can afford. Tennis Training with Nadal in Spain Mallorca? Super Bowl Cards? They make it possible
The $5000 USD annual fee comes with some unusual perks. There are sales at many retail stores that are for Centurion card holders only. They open the store after regular hours to allow better customer service. There is also a concierge service where you can call a number 24 hours per day to get information on specialty stores, restaurants etc. I have a friend who worked there. He would get an art supply or music store to open at 3 am because a celebrity wanted to buy stuff. That was spur of the moment and not pre-planned like the late night sales. Same with an Amex member restaurant. Someone would get out of bed and make a full meal to deliver to a tour bus or hotel.
A guy wearing a t-shirt, shorts and sandals walked into an extremely exclusive boutique. He only bought a tie with his AE Black Card and end up with the phone number of EVERY sales girl of the store.
My former boss had/has a black Amex, one day he invited us out for drinks, all great. At the end of the night, our way to the underground station we stopped at McDonalds and he tried to buy a cheeseburger, ironically his black card was declined. Apparently Amex does not think a rich person would spend £1 at McDonalds.
I used to work at Burger King here in CH. A man showed me his Platinum Card. I just smiled and told him politely that BK doesn't accept any AMEX. Then he paid with his Debit Card. He was a tourist.
That card is definitely full of perks, which very few can afford, but those perks are not actually "free". The annual costs of the card pays for a lot of that. Anyone who can fit the requirements should not hesitate, the prestige and benefits are worth it. The customer support is dedicated and can help cardmembers get priceless assistance. They can even help you get tickets to premium events for which anyone alone would not be able to.
I have the Platinum card and I haven't used all the perks enough to know if the Centurion card would be worth it. From what I have read and from reviews, there is a big difference between the Platinum card and Black card but that the same time there isn't. There is trade offs for the platinum card though like instead of private airport escorting, you can TSA pre check and then go to the lounges. You kinda get the same perks but they aren't private.
Yea! Some of the perks of the black card are specifically catered to that lifestyle but for the rest of us the regular platinum card works just fine :)
Umm the entry requirement for the plat card (let's say the highest of the 3) is around 2/300k annual income. In contrast, the black card is more likely to be in the 8 figures. So there's absolutely no way the benefits can be on par. As the video said, only those who own the card really know what benefits they are getting, so it's not for the rest of us to decide whether it's worth it or not
I worked for a Ski Resort about 80 miles west of Denver managing one of the ticket offices. When the wonderful folks from south of the border would come up and go skiing, I would typically see 2 or 3 of the Titanium based cards a day. Every single of the gentleman were gracious and well spoken and would think nothing of buying their group of 8-12 people (grand parents their spouses, kids, their kids friends, the nannies, etc.) a full ticket for 7-10 days. Even when people were saying they wouldn't ski all that much. The buyer would typically say but you might... My wife worked at a store that not only sold high end clothing but top of the line ski and snowboard equipment. I would be asked where they could rent good equipment and I would give several names of shops including hers. She told me later about how much these large groups would come in and buy for their stay. A fashion forward ski jacket could start around $1200 Same for the ski pants. And of course, you can't ski in the same clothes every day.... They would also buy their boots instead of renting them so they would fit right. And probably the skis because the skis looked scratched. Most times, they would leave them behind when they left due to custom fees. The Japanese tourists would do the same with the equipment, but, according to our friends who worked in the hotels, they would leave them behind, especially Golf Clubs. I found that of the people who were using the Black card, most were quite, low-key foreign business owners who travailed extensively. And used the security features that the card offered when they traveled out of the country. Because, yes, I did see men and women with dark glasses on, and spiral corded ear buds, and noticed them talking into their cuffs. But the "Boss" ignored them and asked me politely to ignore them as well as he didn't want to spook his kids. .
I've seen the Amex Black Card in the late 80's before I moved from NYC. I stood behind a lady waiting to pay for purchases with my son, I was going to pay with my Amex Gold and the lady in front one upped me with the Black.
I ran into a very nice gentleman who had one when I work in a high-end retail store about 20 years ago. We started up a conversation he told me everything that's in this video. He told me he does take advantage of everything and makes his life much easier. Also he mentioned it gets delivered to you in a very fancy box. Any retailer that accepts American Express has to allow card members to skip any wait no matter how long the wait is. Even if the wait is years. Crazy!
@mightnare3237 Although the features like the 24/7 personal relations officer and the airport lounge/hotel status are nice, the biggest merits of the card are the cashback/points earned, and the status gained from owning one
I worked at Beaver Creek ski resort in Colorado. It caters to the super rich and I was selling private ski lessons for $795 a day. I handled many of these cards. The coolest thing about them is that they're not made of plastic, but rather some kind of metal that feels like polished stone. naturally they weigh quite a bit more than your typical card.
I worked years ago at Heathrow at car rental and met few people with these, always dressed subtly and tight spending money but the cards did authorise the quickest!
I know a couple who have their own black card. Didn't realize they had a black card until we were out to dinner, and I insisted that I cover the meal since we were staying at their home for a few days. She asked to look at the bill, and I obliged. She then grabbed my card, threw down the Centurion and wouldn't give mine back until the waiter came back with the receipt.
@@BehindTheBusiness most definitely you have to have a special invitation. All these fake black Amex cards that people are trying to get are not the real deal. At this moment, it is crucial for individuals to prioritize investing in alternative streams of income that are not reliant on the government, particularly with the existing worldwide economic crisis. Investing in stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies can still be profitable during this period. Therefore, it is advisable to explore these investment options to secure one's financial future.
It's important to keep in mind that investing is a zero-sum game with both good and bad days. However, by spending and investing wisely and diversifying your holdings, you can minimize risks and maximize gains. Hiring a knowledgeable investment advisor with a wide range of options can help you achieve this and leave little room for regrets.
@@valeriepierre9778 I personally worked with an investment advisor to diversify my $200k portfolio across multiple markets, resulting in over $980k in net profit from high dividend yielding stocks. Saw one once while working as a front desk clerk. The guest that had it was pretty low key. In fact, he talked with me for a bit, telling stories from his time owning some other hotels. He might have been the wealthiest person I’ve ever had a conversation with, but he was no hassle about it. Quite a departure from the clown trying to be a baller that same night playing “let’s make a deal” over a bottle of Dom that he didn’t want to pay list price for.
I got my Am Ex green in 1986, Golden in 1994, and my Platinum in 2000. The most we ever put on our Platinum card in a year was $100,000ish. Would I take advantage of an invite to get a Centurian? E. It depends.
'Black card' is just a nickname. The Centurion Card is the official American Express name. And you have got to be kidding... 1:55: "Amazon decided to capitalized on the whole ordeal..." Amazon? You need to proofread your script and QC your video. Unforgivable mistake. Source: filmmaker.
Amex Platinum Member since 2003, love the card and benefits though the benefits have shifted towards travel more than everyday perks. I would love the black card, just for achievement purposes alone.
I first saw a black card when I was checking into Nickelodeon Hotel in Orlando 2009 - our check-in person had it...his dad was ultra rich banking family (so you never know by what someone does-what money they have) . Then I saw a black card at the orthodontist when a mom pulled it out to pay-I was told she owned a medical equipment company. I am in FLORIDA - MIAMI luxury capital- since then I am sure the number of AMEX Black running around has tripled💰💰💰 along with all the Bentley's. OWNERSHIP is overrated ACCESS is everything!!!-my billionaire friend's saying. May all who run or read this feed be blessed with health, joy and much prosperity!
Good pointers about Black Amex, I’ve been a Platinum member since 1984, their service to member is excellent and enough for our needs. The Black Card was offered by the annual cost for our budget was prohibited.
These cards are offered free to famous people to boost Amex. I was offered one in 1999 when I was CEO of a publicly traded company doing a lot of travel on my Amex Platinum card. I’ve been Amex card holder since 1968.
The Platinum AMEX has served me well with great benefits and many perks (many which were mentioned in this video). If you have that much disposable income to be offered the Centurion Card, have at it and enjoy the secret benefits .
And he's probably still practicing. Since it's not a violation of professional ethics to support a crook, only a violation to support a crook in future crimes, which no doubt this lawyer was careful to disclaim and avoid if they were smart.
The Centurion card is heavy in the hand and most credit card readers don't like that metal. The tap feature eliminated those problems. I've seen four of these in my life. I've read that the annual fees and spending minimums are high.
As a Black Card holder I can attest to its elite spending prowess.. anything I ask for including exclusive events and experiences is just a phone call away.
It’s a very American thing to get something that makes you feel important. When you drive a BMW you also have an access to a concierge 😂 Travelling on Delta with privileges, wow what an honor 😂😂😂 Now I want one 😂 especially since Seinfeld has one
My dad recently got the platinum card which is one rank below the black one pretty cool benefits he got it since he works as a vice president at the company.
Unfortunately in today's world, I would stay with the green one or maybe gold. Flash the platinum or black and people will take note and sometimes not for the better
No one cares. However, as a member you can up-/downgrade as you wish and even hold more than one card (you can hold a centurion and a blue card and use them at your convenience).
Had an Amex card with a pretty big credit line got rid of it. I pay cash for everything now and I live a simple life. Being debt-free equals stress-free.
Until the Saphire card offers a personal escort of 8 people to assist you to secret lounge at LAX where, they handle EVERYTHING for you and you go through a private security check and then driven to your plane, no the Saphire is not better.
When Mercedes Mclaren was introduced for the first time in a car event, I asked the Mercedes guys if I could buy it right now, his answer: "Yes if you got an american express black" I was like sad face
I think he was pulling your leg. If you had produced the card, he would have lacked the means to process it. However, someone purchased a plane for USD 58 Mio, which was said to be the highest transaction down with a credit card (they say it was done with an AMEX Black Centurion).
Merchants don't like Amex vs visa or mastercard because Amex charges a higher Comission to the Merchant. It's also not as widely accepted world wide. It costs too much . Warren Buffest would never use one.
This is a lovely video! As someone who lives beneath the tidal pool, it's entertaining to see what the residents in the ivory towers do with their lives. Yet, I think I'll stay down here. If I ever take the opportunity to travel, I wish to enjoy meeting and laughing with the laborers and beggars. The wealthy are so … disconnected? … from my reality they're creatures out of myth. To be admired but only from afar.
I had a former boss who had one. It's also made of metal, not plastic, and I've heard you have to have a million dollars liquid assets available, as one of the qualifications.
I owned the Amex Black Card. They did invite me. I had it for awhile but I realized that having the Platinum Card was close to having the Black Card. Anyway. Plus your fees are a lot less than the Black Card. So I just switched to the Platinum Card. But I kept my Black Card as a souvenir. It is made out of titanium! Every time I pulled it out to a retailer they seemed impressed. Good way to meet women! 😎
Listen at 1:54 into the video the announcer say's AMAZON by mistake not AMEX. I had one of these cards - the 3 Million points I used for travel - LV Luggage & Cash back. I sold my company and had no use for the card and I sold the unusable closed Centurion Card for $650 to an artist (He used it in a piece of Artwork)
I have a black Amex card but it is not a Centurion card. It is the limited edition Delta Reserve card that is made from the skin of a 747 airliner. It is engraved with an image of a 747. The current perks justify the annual fee. However, the anticipated changes to Delta's Skymiles program may cause me to downgrade to a lesser card.
I got invited to apply for one about 15 years ago when my company was spending $250k a month on my platinum card but I seem to remember it was a MUCH bigger application/ initiation fee and $6,000 or $7,000 a year so I didn’t bother.
The first time I saw one of these bad boys in person was when I was working at the Apple Store in Lenox Mall (Atlanta, Ga.) and T-Pain comes in needing to replace one of his Mac towers that bit it…I helped him customize his new machine and when it was time to pay, he whipped out the Black Card…$16K later he was happy. 😊
Use to travel a lot. In Europe I. Would work out of Cambridge for four years. Always used AE. Arrived in Cambridge with practically no cash because I knew AE would supply it. Imagine my shock when the AE office had closed. An associate loaned me pounds to get to London and get some pounds. But since I totally relied on AE this trip was troublesome as other AE offices had also closed. Now I only use Schwab and Visa..
I would say that the Platinum is just like the Centurion and IF you know all the pros of the card you will enjoy as much! Obviously there is no Private Jet ride s are includes to Platinum but hey, If some one has the money to enjoy why Black? Platinum Amex has like 90% of the benefits and waaaaaaaay less fees! Your thoughts?
I've used my Black card everywhere I go. Some places actually give me grief and I'm being respectful of the establishment. It's either complete attention or none at all. 🎼 Chocolate rain 🎼...
found one lying on my my Arab billionaire client's table I used to work with. He saw me look at it and I said wow, and he shrugged it off like its nothing hahaha
Jerry Seinfeld. He’s the reason there’s a “black card” now. It wasn’t even a thing until he told the president of AMEX that heard there was a black card (color). But there wasn’t. Seinfeld told him he wanted a “black card (color).” From there the black card was made. He and the AMEX President were a few of the only people with it for a long time. Now it’s a sign of financial wealth.
I find it really funny that for its legendary greed, Disney doesn't offer a black Disney Visa that will allow users to get into any theme park free once a month and get all the perks of their lower level credit cards with it. I thought for a while that they would do this but so far, zip. Nothing.
Universal is also missing out on this. They should be offering a Wizarding World card that says "Gringotts Bank" and offers similar benefits. It still blows me away that neither is doing something like this, especially Disney. My debit/ATM card is a Disney card.
My platinum card has just about all of these benefits including the Marriott and Hilton status as well as the concierge and the lounges and all that. I'm underwhelmed here. I'm assuming their concierge is better or whatever.
I had the gold card once upon a time. It was great for business travel, special lounges and free drinks and food. I was invited to get the platinum card but the yearly fee was $2500 so I passed. Didn't need whatever the extra perks were...
When I went for a retention offer Amex told me Im eligible for the centurion card. Isn’t that mad. In the UK u need to spend £100,000+ the guy on the phone told me that it’s not much better than the platinum kts still 1 point per pound and same insurance benefits

They can even help you get tickets to premium events for which anyone alone would not be able to.
As a Physician I’ve been a AMERICAN EXPRESS CENTURIAN MEMBER since June 2020. Best decision ever being a Surgeon has its benefits.
Becoming a surgeon is something I'm thinking about. What's your lifestyle like?
I have the Platinum card and I haven't used all the perks enough to know if the Centurion card would be worth it. From what I have read and from reviews, there is a big difference between the Platinum card and Black card but that the same time there isn't. There is trade offs for the platinum card though like instead of private airport escorting, you can TSA pre check and then go to the lounges. You kinda get the same perks but they aren't private.
Yea! Some of the perks of the black card are specifically catered to that lifestyle but for the rest of us the regular platinum card works just fine :)
You might have overlooked the fact that it is by invitation only.
Umm the entry requirement for the plat card (let's say the highest of the 3) is around 2/300k annual income. In contrast, the black card is more likely to be in the 8 figures. So there's absolutely no way the benefits can be on par. As the video said, only those who own the card really know what benefits they are getting, so it's not for the rest of us to decide whether it's worth it or not
Nah man, I got my platinum card back when I was making $50k/y. All you need for the plat is a good credit score.
@@UCjhIfO LMAO you definitely don’t need 300k for a Platinum card. I got my first when I was making $70k, and that was only in the last ten years.
I stood behind a lady waiting to pay for purchases with my son, I was going to pay with my Amex Gold and the lady in front one upped me with the Black.
wow, so what! LOL
He said it didn't exist until 1999
Doubt she was even thinking of “upping” anyone.
Crazy!
Is it only reservation wait or also stuff like not having to wait in line? Do you know more about this card! I would love to hear more! :)
Including Hermes?
That’s the ultimate flex
Even if I had a Centurion card, would still use my Amex gold for 4x at restaurants!
The card for the elite
It really is!
@@BehindTheBusiness most definitely you have to have a special invitation. All these fake black Amex cards that people are trying to get are not the real deal. It's just some insecure person wants to feel that they need to show off what they don't have.
I'm not really impressed by anything I saw two in my life. And most the people that I did see him with didn't really look like much. But they had a lot.
I just started a few months back, I'm going for long term, I'm still trying to wrap my head around it, who’s this advisor you work with?
thanks for sharing this, I googled the advisor you mentioned and after going through her resume, I can tell she's a pro. I wrote her and I'm waiting on her reply

*Well, I never had a rich parents but at least I have Mr GARDNER to TEACH ME.*
Getting money is an issue that everyone has needs in order to live a better and luxurious life.
@@dianebuzz1346 Not only that.
The reason people fail to succeed is discouragement from family and friends, how do you know if something is working or not with out a trial.
this is not the first time i am hearing about Mr Gardner and his trades exploits but I have no idea how I can reach him, before now
Please who else has traded with Mr Gardner and made profit, I was told he is the best trader and account handler.
Thanks for the hardwork on the video!
Thank you for that comment!
Yes thank you!
I was talking with someone about this card yet a few hours later "TH-cam " recommends me this video........yep I have been watch
Source: filmmaker.
lol not that deep
Well put together!
Amex Platinum Member since 2003, love the card and benefits though the benefits have shifted towards travel more than everyday perks. I would love the black card, just for achievement purposes alone.
Yes! I think that is the allure. Just having it.
I still have the gold card because the platinum is all geared to travel. I spend about 150k a year on my gold and it is a metal card.
@@chrisyoungs3896 yeah, the Gold card done me well before my Platinum card and my wife still has one as she doesn’t need any Platinum perks.
May all who run or read this feed be blessed with health, joy and much prosperity!
cool story bro
You too, lovely human 🙏❤
Time Stamp: 01:56 you said Amazon decided to create a black card.
I thought I heard that.
My am exp...Amazon card is heavy too...i thought that was different about it
Good pointers about Black Amex, I’ve been a Platinum member since 1984, their service to member is excellent and enough for our needs. The Black Card was offered by the annual cost for our budget was prohibited.
Are you sure it was offered? Because if you have to ask whether it's in your budget...it's not for you.
I don't know anyone who has a centurion card who would discuss it on a TH-cam video. Ergo... you are full of it!
I don’t know anyone that knows anyone that has a black card that would bother posting it on a TH-cam comment section…ergo, you’re full of it
I think that's obvious that these people commenting can't even get a green AMEX card. I'm glad you are budget minded as most wealthy people are.
These cards are offered free to famous people to boost Amex. I was offered one in 1999 when I was CEO of a publicly traded company doing a lot of travel on my Amex Platinum card. I’ve been Amex card holder since 1968.
Awesome video! The views doesnt do this video any justice! Thanks for the effort!
The Platinum AMEX has served me well with great benefits and many perks (many which were mentioned in this video). If you have that much disposable income to be offered the Centurion Card, have at it and enjoy the secret benefits .
I’ve only known one person who had the Black Card. He was a partner in the law firm that handled Enron’s account 🧐
And he's probably still practicing. Since it's not a violation of professional ethics to support a crook, only a violation to support a crook in future crimes, which no doubt this lawyer was careful to disclaim and avoid if they were smart.
the holder of the black card is some of the nicest people hospitality u ever meet
The Centurion card is heavy in the hand and most credit card readers don't like that metal. The tap feature eliminated those problems. I've seen four of these in my life. I've read that the annual fees and spending minimums are high.
Annual fee is $5000 and the minimum is $100,000
I thought the spending minimum was 250,000$ a year
As a Black Card holder I can attest to its elite spending prowess.. anything I ask for including exclusive events and experiences is just a phone call away.
but why would a black card holder stay at a Marriott or Hilton and fly Delta?
It’s a very American thing to get something that makes you feel important. When you drive a BMW you also have an access to a concierge 😂
Travelling on Delta with privileges, wow what an honor 😂😂😂
Now I want one 😂 especially since Seinfeld has one
they need to build credit score to have a card, that is not the case worldwide
My dad recently got the platinum card which is one rank below the black one pretty cool benefits he got it since he works as a vice president at the company.
Unfortunately in today's world, I would stay with the green one or maybe gold. Flash the platinum or black and people will take note and sometimes not for the better
Very true. As somebody in the mere 1%, I lay low when traveling overseas. Have not been kidnapped once and I've been to over 30 countries. For now...
No one cares. However, as a member you can up-/downgrade as you wish and even hold more than one card (you can hold a centurion and a blue card and use them at your convenience).
Very much doubt such people would be in the same vicinity as Centurion card holders.
Had an Amex card with a pretty big credit line got rid of it. I pay cash for everything now and I live a simple life. Being debt-free equals stress-free.
What do you fly?
Never knew a card like this existed, but what about the chase sapphire card? Is that better?
Yes
No….
Until the Saphire card offers a personal escort of 8 people to assist you to secret lounge at LAX where, they handle EVERYTHING for you and you go through a private security check and then driven to your plane, no the Saphire is not better.
It’s not as exclusive
A friend of mine doesn't think the black card is worth it. They think the platinum is better especially when it comes to the much less annual fee.
Yea! The platinum card definitely has almost all the same benefits at a fraction of the cost!
@@BehindTheBusiness My friend thinks that all the Black Card is, is for FLEX
It’s a status symbol
@@Rainy_Day12234 Someone actually gets it!
Thanks!
Do they charge u for the concierge service?
This is giving a whole new meaning to customer service
When Mercedes Mclaren was introduced for the first time in a car event, I asked the Mercedes guys if I could buy it right now, his answer: "Yes if you got an american express black"
I was like sad face
To be admired but only from afar.
one card to rule them all, one card to find them, one card card to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them
I had a former boss who had one. It's also made of metal, not plastic, and I've heard you have to have a million dollars liquid assets available, as one of the qualifications.
1:55 "amazon"? these ai generated farm factory videos can't even get something so simple right.
Awesome Video!
Thank you!
Excellent info!
Thank you!
Can’t wait for more videos!
Stay tuned! More to come very soon!
It’s going to be impossible to get one of these… but anyway thanks for the great video!
Thank you!
Nothing is impossible, i have it.
Favorite Mark Twain quote- "I am opposed to millionaires, but it would be dangerous to offer me the position!"
Just an FYI, at minute 1:55 the video says "Amazon decided to capitalize on the whole ordeal....", kind of a little glitch there.
nice to see I'm not the only one to catch that. 😳
If you are invited..do you still pay the fee?
Did you notice at time 1:54ish, you called it the Amazon card? 😀
Amazon owns everything...
You get all these perks with the platinum card
I got invited to apply for one about 15 years ago when my company was spending $250k a month on my platinum card but I seem to remember it was a MUCH bigger application/ initiation fee and $6,000 or $7,000 a year so I didn’t bother.
Thanks for the great video!
Thank You!
This video is an information fishing expedition, providing just enough interesting tidbits to loosen the lips of anyone that is in the know....
You slap that card down at Applebee’s to impress your baby momma’s. LoL
My grandad has one of these cards it’s a big flex😭
Can we use apple pay with the black card?
Use to travel a lot. In Europe I. Would work out of Cambridge for four years. Always used AE. Arrived in Cambridge with practically no cash because I knew AE would supply it. Imagine my shock when the AE office had closed. An associate loaned me pounds to get to London and get some pounds. But since I totally relied on AE this trip was troublesome as other AE offices had also closed. Now I only use Schwab and Visa..
I was once at a corporate dinner, where the director of marketing did have a black card and used it to pay for everyone's dinner
4:50 Delta Airways 🤦🏽♂️
I would say that the Platinum is just like the Centurion and IF you know all the pros of the card you will enjoy as much! Obviously there is no Private Jet ride s are includes to Platinum but hey, If some one has the money to enjoy why Black? Platinum Amex has like 90% of the benefits and waaaaaaaay less fees! Your thoughts?
what do you do to qualify for it? Like what’s your job?
Anything as long as it brings in tons of cash yearly preferably around 5 million plus
I've used my Black card everywhere I go. Some places actually give me grief and I'm being respectful of the establishment. It's either complete attention or none at all. 🎼 Chocolate rain 🎼...
Which software do you use for editing
Yeah a buddy of mine used his to call for a helicopter pick up on South Beach... It's kinda wild
I have 2 of this cards and one I m using when I shop to Lidl !
I've a NAB black debit card - does that count?
found one lying on my my Arab billionaire client's table I used to work with. He saw me look at it and I said wow, and he shrugged it off like its nothing hahaha
This video was a great advert I need one now
If I won a lottery big dollar jackpot, I might consider it, but probably settle for the platinum or gold.
Yea platinum seems good enough!
Looks like a great card. I hope someday 🙏 soon I can qualify to get this card. I am CEO and I spend around $1,000.000. Per year. Good luck all.
Jerry did advertisements for AmEx after "Seinfeld" went off the air. Probably "quid pro quo."
Will it be a robinhood scheme or the first step in the wrong path?...
Nice piece, but at 1:55 … did he say Amazon instead of Amex? 😂
I’ve painted my Platinum card black. Wish me luck! 😆
At 1:55 you say Amazon decided to capitalize on the card. I think you meant to say Amex?
I had the gold card once upon a time. It was great for business travel, special lounges and free drinks and food. I was invited to get the platinum card but the yearly fee was $2500 so I passed. Didn't need whatever the extra perks were...
When I went for a retention offer Amex told me Im eligible for the centurion card. Isn’t that mad. In the UK u need to spend £100,000+ the guy on the phone told me that it’s not much better than the platinum kts still 1 point per pound and same insurance benefits
