I’ve just watched your ‘I’m tired of it’ and so guilty of buying, buying, buying. I bought a laminator 2 years ago and haven’t even had it out of the box! I’m going to binge watch you laminator videos and get it out of the box!!! Thank you for every video you make 😘
I have those old floral stamps from back in the wood block mounted days. It is lovely to see them being used again. I have so many old wooden mounted stamps from my early stamping days.
I used the Stazon Ink: I didn't have the pouches, so I took my regular laminator sheets and cut them right up the center: I stamped my image, let dry ran threw the laminator and they turned out perfect!!! I think putting that strip of paper at the top really was a game changer!!! Thanks, I totally love them!!!
Thanks for sharing. I adore the floral stamps from PSX. Was so sad when they closed here in the USA. You can still find them on Etsy, and ebay. I haven't tried using with a laminated pouch, so I am excited to try this technique.
Greetings from snowy Texas. Your videos are awesome. I have been using my laminator so much more now. I have been paper crafting for over 20 years, so I have really a lot of stash to use up. Take care and looking forward to more of your videos. Pamela
Those stamps are from PSX one of the best companies there ever was. They won’t out of business many years ago and their stamps are very sought after by those who know the company. Even their wood and mounting is so wonderful. My friend would be so jealous, she collects the flower stamps.
I did try this with the white pigment pad, the first one I put through straight away and yes, it smeared. Then I stamped the images again and left the pouch open for 24 hours then laminated, this worked perfectly, but I think I will give it a go with Staxon, many thanks.
So true ... I was all over an amazon lightning deal lately and have had the most wonderful seller experience with a company and their product ( hot cold A3) laminator If anyone is after one 2!years warranty and new for old immediate replacements plus freebies - been blown away by them ! Not advertising the name no disrespect to Ann’s Chanel in case you promote a different brand but if anyone wants details message me 🙂 it’s your fault anyway Ann for getting us excited about hot pressing plastic ( basically ) 😂🥰
Love this! Great idea to emboss the clear image on the outside panel to frame the card! And the bumblebees are adorable! I prefer to have more writing area inside the card, so I think I'll cut the opening on the outside panel only, glue the acetate to the outside panel, then use foam between the acetate and card base. Thank you SO much for all the wonderful ideas!
If you are just using Stazon you can just use acetate without a laminator or pouch as Stazon is permanent on slick surfaces anyway. Also be careful with non rubber stamps, it can ruin the stamp. It’s fine with rubber though.
Hi Ann, I’m not a stalker LOL just discovered your channel a few days ago so I’m binge watching your videos. After seeing what you can create with a laminator I’m going to purchase one as these are fantastic. I’m a newbie to paper crafting so it’s very much appreciated you share your ideas and show how to achieve them. Thanks for all you do. : )
love laminated stamp image. I would never have thought of doing that! Those flower stamps are from PSX, I have a few of them! Bought them about 25 years ago though, I don't believe the stamp company is around anymore but you can get the stamps from places like eBay.
Wow Anne, beautiful what a gorgeous card to give to Mum or Grandma on Mothering Sunday, a real keepsake! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful idea x
Love this card. I'm getting used to the laminator now. Those rubber stamps are really awesome, I have a few of them too from way back, I recognised the style of writing of the name of the flower. Good way to get some more use out of old stash. Thank you.
I had no luck with the white ink either. I even left it overnight to dry and it still smudged. So after a few attempts with the white I gave up. So now I’ll get some Stayz on and try again. It is so pretty. Thanks
Hi Ann, you've got me at it again with these laminating pouches. My laminator is about 12 years old, it works but I think it is time for a new one. I never used it much until I started watching your videos though. Thanks for sharing another great video, it is much appreciated. Stay safe :) xx The card looks amazing....
I have never owned stamps or ink pads, I've been crafting for years. I have now started to buy stamps 🙈, the things you share and the enthusiasm you impart...it's Infectious.
So beautiful, and the first I’ve seen this technique. I’ve got the same laminator, but don’t use it much... now I’ve got a reason to get it out. By the way, the bees are adorable ! Thank you for your wonderful explanation !
Just like you, I tried it with the white pigment inkt, and it didn't work either. I'm gonna trie again with my stazon, because I really like this! Thank you for reminding me,😊
Hi . Can I ask what is white pigment ink. I thought Ann used black ink. Do you reckon would work in the glossy pouches. Is there anywhere I can learn how to emboss. Sorry for the questions. I agree great idea. Ann is amazing
She mentioned having used white pigment ink and that did not dry and smudged when laminated. It's just the typical white ink. In this video therefore Ann used black Stazon. With embossing you stamp with embossing ink, sprinkle some embossing powder on it and Heat with heattool until powder had melted. Hope you understand my English, 'cause I'm Dutch.
love your tips! Name of discontuned stamps is psx stamps. I think i have most of those you showed wa hoo. Can't wait to try this technique. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Ann, I remember you saying awhile ago about the laminated things coming out wavy ! The 125mic and the 80mic settings on your laminator are for the weight of the pouches you use, on the box of the pouches it should tell you if they are 125 or 80 and that is what heat setting you use. So if you are putting 80 micron pouches trough on the 125 setting this will be too hot and cause the rippling/wavy effect of the finished project. Thanks for sharing!
The whole reason I bought a laminator was because of that video by Jennifer Maguire. I was super disappointed with the results because just like you showed in your video mine were smeared and blurry and they looked terrible. I thought I tried to staz-on ink as well, but I know I did not let it dry for a long time. I also probably had my laminating machine too hot. I will definitely give it a try again because it looks so pretty 👍
Oh wow those cards are stunning. I haven’t got a laminater but I seriously thinking about getting one . I’m really loving these videos you have given us so many ideas and what I love the most we can make beautiful cards with just one or two items . I craft on dinning room table and the mess can spread right across the room . Thank you so much Anne
Wow, I have GOT to do some of these. Very nice of you to give props to Jennifer McGuire. I sure wish people would do that when they copy your ideas. It's not like can deny it because the screen shot is almost exactly like yours, color and all. I just think it's tacky not to give someone credit for an idea. Most card fold designs have probably been done 100s of years, but new people discover them all the time and bring them back. However your ideas with your laminator have been very popular and it's nothing I have ever seen done before, unless you tell us otherwise. I follow Jen McGuire, how did I miss this video? Goes to show you even the big names get screwed around by youtube. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas with us. I greatly appreciate your time and efforts.
Thank you Karla. I no what you mean. I have seen it to. They just don't because they think it makes them look good!! It really dosnt though as people no the truth. Gets right up my nose xx
Ann, the cards are absolutely breathtaking with this technique. Thank you so much for sharing. Can't wait to get the pouches & Staz-On Ink & make a bunch. :)
I love this technique but where does my handwritten inside sentiment go? I'm thinking I'd need another lift up panel inside or write on the back? What do you think? Guess I'll have to give it a try!
Wow.. great idea. I don't have acetate, and it looks like you could even make your own "acetate" by just running the pouch through your laminator and you'd have some clear acetate! Now I'm thinking.. put some gold glitter inside or little gold dots, or stamp dots and heat emboss with gold.. then you would have acetate with gold dots inside. I know you can buy it, but if you can't afford it, then this would be a great way to go! I do have the laminator and pouches!
Beautiful! The stamps are from PSX, Personal Stamp Exchange. Don’t know if still in business. I used to work in a shop 20+ years ago that sold those stamps. I bought and still have, excellent quality stamps. Going to give this technique a try. Thanks for sharing.
I also watched Jennifer and tried with pigment ink and had lousy results I didn't want to waste my laminating pouches on other trials so thanks Will try your way
Somebody has probably said this already, but I think those wooden stamps were from a company called PSX (personal stamp exchange I think) a Californian company. I have some of their flower stamps, absolutely beautiful. Love your take on this card.
Thank you so much Ann, I really really love ❤️ how these came out. And it’s so very very clever and helpful too. I shall definitely be trying this. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
DearAnn, could you consider naming your videos to help specifically identify each project? I save the videos in my email and have to open each video to figure out the specific project since the subject line always says laminating hack. Thanks for all your hard work and creativity!! Kathleen D.
This is a beautiful project. I smudged too many but now I wonder if I didn't let it dry first. Pouches are not cheap here in NZ! I WILL have another go now.
Ok. I tried again and got 2 of the 3 images just fine but the other had that clouding like there was moisture trapped. I ran it through again but it didn't change... and didn't affect the hood images either! Yah. Thanks. Now to make a couple of cards. You're awesome by the way!!!

I can’t wait to try this. I will be needing a wedding card and this will be perfect. Thank you.
I have those old floral stamps from back in the wood block mounted days. It is lovely to see them being used again. I have so many old wooden mounted stamps from my early stamping days.
Those stamps are gorgeous. a lot of people had issues with the white ink technique. Thanks for sharing an alternative

Would never have thought to stamp onto a laminator pouch. Yes I'd think it would be even more stunning with colour ink.
🤩🤩🤩
