The heat embossing on the glass is absolutely gorgeous. Yet another project of yours I can't wait to make. Thank you for sharing your wonderful creativity with all of us. You have a heart of gold.
@@carolstrachan4197 good for you!!! It's new to me and thousands of others. I don't do this to be known for new ideas. I do it to help people and share my love
Oh Ann you've done it again. You have completely changed how to elevate a craft to a whole new level. I would never have thought to do the things you did today with just paper and a laminating machine. Plus what you did to the picture frame by just stamping and heat embossing the glass. All I can say is WOW. You are so talented Ann and I am so happy that I found your channel.
God bless your happy little accidents, and giving spirit to share with us. Kudos to the gal for sharing her glass embossing idea with you, and your beautiful inspiration of it. Five-thumbs up! Fabulous tutorial series! Thanks so much Ann. Blessings 💙xx
This is a completely amazing video, Ann. It takes lamination to a level I never thought possible. The stained glass effect would look stunning in front of a tea light on a Christmas card. Your creativity is immeasurable.
Inspiration hit me when I read your message. I have a lantern die and this technique would be perfect for that lantern die. A tea light would make those alcohol ink colors pop.
Oh my...the stained glass effect...imagine a church window on a Christmas Card! Wow I've gotta try ALL these and head over to your website first for a purchase! Thanks for making a wet, miserable Sunday a happy one Ann 💜💜
I used to do the stain glass window type years ago when I taught in a primary school, the kids loved it. I also do the embossing on glass and more so on mirrors, it gives it even more of a 3d effect because of the mirror. You should try that @Anne ❤️
All your tutorials are wonderful, but those picture frames are absolutely wonderful! I just got 50 ideas for my daughter's room with different stamps and die cuts. I'm so excited!
The stencil and stained glass are genius! Can't wait to try them I have a question though. You said to make sure that what would be the inside of the laminating pouch is face down on the back side of the stencil, the not previously laminated side, so that the "sticky" part of the lamination sheet doesn't ruin your machine. How does it not ruin it anyway since all the open parts of the window actually do then have the "sticky" part of the laminating sheet exposed?
I loved all the ideas in this video, however, the heat embossed glass is amazing! As always, thanks so much for sharing your creativity!!! Blessings & hugs!!!
Ann, you are one of my absolute favorite TH-cam crafters. Sooo many marvelous ideas and helpful tips. I can’t imagine how you think of these things but you are so innovative. Love it!
I also think that is really amazing!! I wonder if you could touch it up using an embossing pen? Obviously it would not be the same pattern as the stamp, but I don’t think other people would know that anything had been done. If you were worried about doing that, maybe you could make the “touch up” on the other side of the glass and again, I doubt that anyone would ever know. If you did the touch up on the smooth side, you might be able to take that off with a single edge razor blade? I would recommend testing that on a scrap of glass first. Actually, I think it is beautiful just as is, and if you had not mentioned it, I would have thought that the stamp was exactly that way!! Especially for a silhouette image! Thank you again for more genius projects!!💕
Wow 🤩 thanks very much for sharing Ann fabulous ideas💕 I had a thought with the one you die cut and did the wrong side and had the pieces stuck in you could put your die or make a stencil over it and then colour the stuck pieces to what ever colour you like just like you did the stained glass look 💕
Omg Ann thank goodness for accidents when crafting!!! These are amazing. I think my favourite is the embossed photo frame but like you love all the others. You are so creative and amazing what you come up with. Great big thanks xxx
Wow! Ann, this is awesome! I never thought of doing these! I love the stained glass look! It’s perfect for a church for Christmas! That embossed look is a great idea too! It’s amazing what we discover when we play! Thanks for sharing!
Loved the heat embossing on glass Ann! I bought some frames a while ago which already had writing on the outside of them. I removed the wording carefully with a DIY glass scraper ( it’s a blade in a holder) so that might work if a mistake is made after heat embossing.
Love your ideas, so many new things to try. May I mention: baby wipes are almost indestructible. A damp cloth, washable would help our environment, and, save you money.
Wonderful video Ann. Tell me, what do you do with the laminated "mistakes", just colour them? It would take a lot of colouring. This is new to me, but I loved it. xx
This is brilliant! Now you can make basic shape masks (positive & negative) and save having to purchase them from the big online shops. I can’t believe what they charge (+shipping) for something we can do on a laminator! And think of the stencils you can put together from what you have! Thank you for showing us this.
FABULOUS VIDEO!!! You are rocking the craft world Ann! It's fun to buy the latest trend of craft supplies but SO much more satisfying to use your creative skills and ingenuity to explore unique and beautiful ways of using what you have! Especially during these financial times and uneasiness I feel about leaving the house unnecessarily. It can become very boring in spending so much time at home so I really appreciate you sparking so many ideas and inspiration! You're the BEST! Janet 🥰👍💕🌺
Lovely work! I would like to suggest you try cutting out the laminate paper with your stained glass punch. Then color the individual pieces (on non stick side) and place those in the openings of the card and re-laminate rather than color it after laminating. I believe you will like what you see. :) No color outside the lines. I have NOT tried this myself but I don't do those type crafts. I think it is worth a try.
Hi Ann, I've just tried doing the heat embossing on glass and it works....but of course I made a mess of it, BUT, I used a blade that I use on the top of my ceramic hob and it mostly scraped off, then I used hand sanitizer and everything else came off and I'm back to the lovely clear glass again. So all is not lost and I'm going to start again!!!
Amazing!!!! I tried all three ideals and I love everyone equally!!! A genius at work!!! Love and learn so much on every U-tube you show and share with us!! Thanks!!!
Thank you so much for this video! Loved all the new ideas! BUT... those framed glass embossing ideas has just given me a way to make a gift for someone who has everything!!! Love it, Love it!!! ❤
Hi Ann! I really enjoy watching your videos and hearing your ideas. You are so clever! Thank you for sharing with us. I am going to have to try embossing on glass and may have to use the technique to make a couple of holiday gifts this year. I was surprised to hear you say that there is no changing the result after the powder is heat set on the glass, because it seems to me that you could go over places that were not filled in properly the first time with a Versamark pen, put some embossing powder on it and heat it up. I'm curious if you've tried this and the second heating ruins the first, heat set layer of embossing powder. Please let us know, as I'm sure I won't be the only person to think of this possible fix and/or want to try it.
Oh aren’t happy accidents the best?!!! I used acetate from stamp sets to do what you did on the glass & it’s much less expensive to do on the acetate in case of a mistake. I LOVE everything you showed in this video!!! So grateful for you sweet soul!!! Sending blessings & hugs!!!
Oh wow Ann! Yet again some wonderful ideas, love the heat embossing on the glass. I'm going to have to live to 100 to do my MUST try list and you're adding to it on a very regular basis! ! Keep em coming! x 😁
Love all the ideas. But I have one question on the stained glass effect. Is putting just the one side of Lamination sheet through the laminator going to deposit a sticky residue inside the machine? Thoughts please
Love your videos. Question on the stained glass card when you run it through the laminator, how do you prevent the part that's not covered from getting glue all over the inside of the laminator?
