Those places are great … it’s like a museum of our childhood but you can buy what’s on display!
And I was all about the Sega Genesis and even had the joystick & buttons controller bought extra back then. Vectorman was my game and soon I’m going to start the journey to a Vectorman themed multicade (AtGames Legends Ultimate based) and then we went GameCube and Wii … never got anything past that though

hey phil, good memories. i still have my Sega Cd and 32x with some games. i love the Star Wars chess but the cartridges work but the cd player stopped. i would like to get it fixed but i haven't found a reputable place yet. have a great day.

Got some good stuff there over the years. Supa Boy Black Gold edition, Neo Geo Mini, Super Famicom carts.... I picked up a Genesis Mini 2 there. Better line up than the first in my opinion. More sleeper hits and Sega CD games as well.
It might be our best store Domeshtan, always a fun trip over there.

I probably have a ton of stuff in the attic that these kind of places would buy 😂 Saw you left with a Nickelodeon wall decor - was a nice pickup. I have been meaning to send you a little gift but you know what I’m going through right now. It’s been hard to leave the house 😢

I wanted to buy something another reason passing on ALP this time around was taking advantage of July sales all month long so yesterday I felt that was the best thing I could get that was reasonable I like it in the room. I know it’s tough man, you don’t have to send me anything but I hope you can get out there and clear your head today.

back in England my old man he loved Star Trek , every night it was on at tea time . I loved Star Trek generations that came about early 90’s. TJ hooker a firm favourite Phil have you seen it. the 80’s for me were where it started . Apart from the one billion bionic man doll haha late 70’s. The Nickelodeon artwork classic early 90’s love it ❤

I have almost every gi Joe and most vehicles and bases. I even saved all the boxes. I’ve got a disassembled aircraft carrier in its original box. I can’t believe what that stuff sells for, but I just can’t part with it. I’ve sold a few things over the years and I ALWAYS end up regretting it. I always think of the replacement cost. Because eventually, I’m going to want the stuff back. It’s easier just to keep my originals.
I’m so grateful I still have all my childhood Lego sets and action figures and video game systems. I’d hate to have to track down a Sega CD today. Everything is so expensive. Fortunately, my brother doesn’t have any interest in our old stuff, so I’ve transferred everything to my house.
GI Joes and Legos were the most consistent things when I was a kid. I’d have a couple thunder cats, a few Visionaries etc. I’d sample just about every new toy line (and there were A LOT of them), but I’d always end up coming back to GI Joe. For one thing, they had little guns. But I think their possibility made them more fun to play with. Whenever there was a Batman figure available I’d get it, because I love Batman, but they weren’t fun to play with because of the terrible articulation.
We’re living in an action figure Renaissance. Basically, every toy line from the 80s is back, but with modern paint application and articulation. I can’t believe the 6” gi joe line is real. I just got 3 beachhead figures from BigBadToyStore. That was my favorite 3 3/4” figure as a kid. Anyway, I’m rambling. I had dental surgery and have been awake for almost 48 hours because of the discomfort and medication. So, I’m a little out of it. I mostly feel better, but for some reason I still can’t sleep. Oh well. It’ll happen when it happens. Signing off.
Hey Ian, I hope you can get some rest man that’s a long time to be up. You’ve got an amazing collection that someday will be a great retirement:) we had so much back then that we got samples of every toy line because there was so much coming out. I wish I still had mine, had to sell everything 2008-2009 money was tight, you are so lucky to have held onto yours. GI Joe just kept getting better, Thank you for sharing 👊 I hope you have a great weekend and can rest up!
Well I made a comment and N**i TH-cam deleted it! WTF? Anyway we think on the same wavelength man. That is why I have a hard time selling any of my stuff as I know I'll regret it. Some stuff like the MASK was a bit pricey, I almost went back today but want to wait a little while for new stuff to show.

This place is og on national ave and then moved to Howard ave then he opened a second location in Vegas that didn’t last unfortunately

Dude holy smokes I would go nuts in a place like that. lol Funny you mention that Dukes Of Hazzard watch as I have every different watch they produced minus the calculator watch which is super rare and hard to find. I actually daily wear my Dixie melody musical Dukes Of Hazzard watch and wear the video game one on the weekends. And yes they made an actual Dukes Of Hazzard video game watch. lol I have a lot of stuff pertaining to the TV show including many different types of General Lees, a General Lee beach towel from '81 that I want to get framed at Hobby Lobby sometime. If you couldn't already guess The Dukes Of Hazzard is my favorite TV show of all time. I was at the fresh age of 4 when the show first dropped in January of 1979!
Anyway you didn't mention the Super Gobots one of them being Bug Bite the medium sized yellow VW Beetle. I have him MIB as well as quite a few other Super Gobots. It would take so long to type what I have in my collections. I have toys from the 80's including, Transformers, M.A.S.K., G.I.Joe, Star Wars (bust mostly Power of the Force from the 90's), Hot Wheels and other die cast cars. Also I have a huge handheld video game collection spanning probably around 200 or so. That also doesn't include the video game consoles I have which is over 30 original ones and several hundred original physical video games. All that mentioned doesn't even scratch the surface for what I have. lol Hopefully you don't take it as bragging or showing off as I just wanted to share.
Dude I thought of you when I was looking at MASK, I want to go back and buy all of them lol That’s a ton of handhelds Atran! Ok don’t be mad I totally missed it on camera they had the calculator there, package was ripped a little but had everything. That store is the best in the area others will be good but always have very high expectations with going there never a disappointment. Sorry I didn’t get everything I could still be there :)

If not too crazy I would love to have it in my collection! Yeah I've collected for over 30 some years and have a hard time letting things go. lol I mean I own 8 actual vehicles. lol 4 Datsun 280zx Z cars, a '72 Chevy Pickup, a '75 Firebird/Trans Am clone and an '03 Grand Prix GT along with my '00 Grand Prix GTP (which is the one in the shop)
I think it was just a calculator with original packaging I didn’t look for the price, next time I stop back in a walk & talk I’ll look :)

That was one of my dream watches when I was a kid. lol But yeah The Dukes Of Hazzard calculator watch has the General Lee within the number buttons and is one of the rarest of the Dukes items!
