- This week at the flea markets I was buying things left and right, without doing any research! Usually it's a mistake, but this time I came home with some rare items I had no idea they were so valuable!

I been to a thrift stores when I'm checking out I'm paying the marked price & the manager said since I am a reseller I needed to be charged more. I told her just put it back on the shelf and let someone that's not a reseller have it, that's how you lose a sale with me.
Yeah the stigma against resellers makes me laugh. Without resellers thrift stores would not stay in business. And eBay would be a ghost town. It would be near impossible to find any collectible online without people putting in the work and effort of tracking that stuff down in the wild. I think jealousy is the root of it tbh
I'd believe that if all you dudes didnt get but hurt when people look up the actual value of the item. You want to buy shit for $1 and add 100% markup. @@FlippityFlip
Little do they know 95% or more of the regulars in thrift stores are resellers one way or another. It’s nobodies business what anyone does with something after you pay for it. I’d have walked out too. That’s terrible customer service. They don’t realize you’re literally paying into their paycheck. They should be thanking you.

I wouldn't call that Handycam a loss. I got one around the same age at a garage sale and it was in worse condition than yours and had no extras or bag and wouldn't power on. I sold it as-is for parts for $30. I think even with the minor issue yours has you have at least $50. Great video.
This video just made me smile. When you said Webb road I shared it with my friends. It’s nice to see a reseller in our area! Me and my friends were thinking of doing it aswell.
Our area in western NC is filled with Flea Markets, there is literally one every single day within 50 miles radius of me. Anybody can do it!

Use Hot water to bind the toys back into shape...I use it on my toys.
How do u get of the yellowing with the Mario Kart?
I put Salon Care 40-Volume Creme Developer on the yellowed area, then wrap the area with seran wrap so the stuff doesn't evaporate, and lay it out in the sunlight for about 12 hours or so. That removes all of the yellowing from the plastic and it will look brand new.

That sounds like a good amount to buy for as pokemon cards sell faster than anything, but I try to hide the fact I'm a reseller as much as I can haha
Why don't you have the online buyers pay for postage? You're giving away big bucks when you do freepost!
I think selling something for $20 w/ Free Shipping gives me near the same amount as $15ish with buyer paying shipping. Plus your listings get a boost in viewership by eBay if they are free shipping. I may lose a little over time, but not that big of a deal as I'm selling stuff faster. It's the eternal debate between sellers and I'm not sure which side is right.

I went back later to buy them all and they were gone, but no worries there will always be more
Spider-Man vhs L
Very few VHS are worth selling on their own. I buy them for a dollar and put them in big lots. Kids VHS like Spider-man, TMNT, DragonBallZ, and others sell really well in lots.
