Oh my God, the tutorial series I've been waiting for since ages. I wanted to learn unreal engine for animations couple of years ago but couldn't work with it because of lack of the tutorials and guides, i think this will be possible now Thanks to you guys for that. I really wanted to learn about cloth physics, i hope you guys also covered it in this series. You nailed every basic step in this tutorial ngl i've been learning UE from past few days but didn't knew about these basic steps properly, you guys explain things clearly and in creative way keep this spirit up. Creating tutorials like these takes a lot of time and energy for that i THANK YOU guys again. 🙏
That is our goal ..To teach you all the basics in 20 videos in less than 8 hours ...After taking this beginner tutorial, you can then dive deep into more specialized routes of Unreal
Really enjoying this so far. What I really like is the questions you guys are asking each other, almost acting on behalf of the viewer. So many tutorials just show how to do something and often skip over why you're doing it.
Your content is truly outstanding! It's been such an honor to witness the upload of this wonderful series. The creativity and effort you put into each video are truly impressive. Keep up the amazing work, and I can't wait to see what you create next!
Dude i started watching this video wondering if touch screen would be easier to use because WASD didn't work, then you answered my question and it felt like you were reading my mind. One of the best beginner tutorials I've seen
im getting mcLaid off (game artist) and have been meaning to add unreal to my toolset, so now's a good time as any LOL i love how easy it is to follow along and how naturally info is added via questions posed between you two! thanks so much for making this
I love this series and I'm only on the 2nd video! By far the BEST Unreal Engine Tutorial I've come across and I pay for LinkedIn Learning! Clearly explained, really easy to follow and to understand. You guys are brilliant! Thank you for putting this together and for making it so easy to understand! GREAT JOB!! 👏👏👏👏
@@badxstudio I’m in part 18, wondering if the tutorial is already complete or there are still any new video to come? As I can see that there are 2 more videos still no published in the list. Thanks again for the channel and the podcast that I follow.
Note (15:00): You can cycle through the transform gizmo modes (i.e., position, rotation, and scale) by pressing the space bar instead of memorizing W, E, & R.
I'm finally working on a passion project I've wanted to do for ages, got a better computer so I downloaded ue5, and your series is perfect so far. Thank you for making it! The two of you work really well together, and asking each other questions is extremely helpful.
Although I am already familiar with these basic knowledge about UE5, I find myself still enjoy this episode. It is so nice to have this pair programming/teaching approach that covers all the details about UE
OMG you lot are so amazing i downloaded unreal engine the moment i built my pc because my old one was A and i felt so overwelmbed the moment i opened the engine and now that im following you along learning all these short cuts effects and basics is making it so much more fun i thank you a thousand times
Great series, I really like your tutorials Your discussions are also cool, it's a nice change during distance learning when you usually listen to one person
the most ineteresting tutorial I have ever seen .... its very ineteresting, the way you both explain the things.... I am now in part 2 and I am really enjoying and learning very easily.....💌💌 thank you so much for these tutorials.....💌💌🤟🤟 it was really needed.. love from India, West Bengal 💌💌
Thanks to you guys I will switch to UE5 after I finish my horror game that I make in Unity. Plus I am focusing on a side project and learning UE5 to make a cinematic environment. It would be so good for a person to have this kind of teacher man. Love them.
How come I’m realizing how easy it is to use unreal engine just now? Wtf this is INCREDIBLE- I’ve always been scared of professional tools bc they have too many features and are usually too difficult to use bc of that, blender is a good example, I spend so long trynna learn it every now and then and I’d quit, but this… omg this is exactly what I wanna spend the rest of my life doing!
thats a good one guys, i spend entire day today to get into basics and i am 100% goin to finish your course, hopefully after this it will be easier to start interior design in ue5
I love the fact that everything is easily understandable but I have a problem, watching these tutorials make me feel like I'm in school and obviously make me bored and tired until you get to the cool stuff. Very cool guide and thanks for making it free.
this is a million times easier than when I used UnrealEd 2 back in the day, you actually have skyspheres, lol I can remember having to make a skybox and then put the sphere into it and write a UScript actor to animate it, so much streamlined functionality now... I just wish there was a new Unreal Tournament so I can make some maps.
Following along, i watched the videos first now I'm going through it, Gotta love how UE5.5 loads up a open world when hitting blank project now. Modeling tools are automatically enabled now, There are now (2) kinds of import buttons . still following along now...Still Thank you for the time to make this series.
You know I can't count how many times I have told myself I'm going to make a film in Unreal. I would start to learn everything and give up 2 days later. Thank you for making this.
This is very nice tutorials for really begiiners, you covered up everything to know at the start. Quick tip to navigation Orbit selection If you wanted to orbit around selected click the "Editor preferences" on the menu and search for "Orbit camera around selection" and check it. Then select your object, hit F to center it and press "Left Click + Alt" and move your mouse to orbit it.
I´m waiting for next chapter!!... is amazing guys. I'm learning from 0. So this is a great tutorial, I just know how to use nomad sculpt. hopefully i will be able to use it with unreal engine 5. thanks
You are both really sweet, nice people and it's refreshing to see such nice people on social media these days. I'm autistic and I wonder if Farood is like me. He is so brainy, as are you too!
Im still compiling shaders, give me a min and I will move on with the tutorial. Thanks for sharing this basic course of UE5, It's something that I was looking for = )
Jesus. I think the hardest thing for me as a blender user are these different shortcuts. Why not s for scale and r for rotate? It's killing me hahah Thanks for doing this guys
are these locked in options? genuinely curious, not to troll or anything. Haven't used Blender in years, and even then, i bounced off of it very quickly and stopped trying to make 3D objects
Hi, thank you for teaching me my first unreal engine 5 lessons, I need a new laptop, and I think it will be better and more fun if I could practice with ambitious people who love games like me 😊❤
I've been using Fusion and Blender for some goofy (but very complex and sometimes advanced) VFX. Looking at this, it definitely looks like something I could do. Switching between so many sets of shortcuts could get a bit tedious, though. I already have to readjust between Fusion's 3D controls and Blender's each time.
OMG , I am really shocked right know. I tried and made kinda those things in blender.. And it was just a torture. I cant believe how easy we can do these things. And my computer isnt dying while rendering reflections. This is just magic i guess. And thanks for video. it is very usefull and clear
Reading the comments, for anyone having trouble moving the sunlight, the way I do it is, Press Ctrl+L then let go of L but keep hold of Ctrl. Now move the mouse around to change the sunlight. (You can also keep hold of both of those keys then move then mouse around).
I love this series. It will be huge once people realize the power of Unreal Engine
Glad you love it buddy

This is probably the best tutorial format l have found on TH-cam. Everything is crystal clear with these guys' dynamic.

You two are the best at teaching! I'm sticking with you the whole series. Thank you so much!!
Today saw the two episodes loved the simple and easy language eagerly waiting for the 3rd episode to drop 🤘🏻

Bro there's literally no videos covering the absolute basics of unreal. This video series is godsend.
You guys just turned UE5 from intimidating, to EXCITING! thank you for all your efforts, these free lessons are EPIC! pun intended hehe.
The best beginners tutorial series for UE5! Thank you so much guys. From Vietnam with love and respect!
the thing is you guys are so good and you are explaning the things so good
