Flawless with the communications, you are not afraid in the radios, nevertheless it is a bit annoying, I prefer to call the briefer on the ground before rock and roll
Thanks for another great video Jon..... I have seen many of your videos and recently noticed that at different times, you have flown using either the Lightsppeed Zulu or Bose A20 headsets......any thoughts on which you perfer? which you find most comfortable?
They always want a phone number. Just in case they need to contact you. Among other things, the first thing they do before they call out search and rescue is try to phone you to see where you are.
In the back of the IFR Supplement there is a format for filing a flight plan with FSS. Last item is name and number and it does state that it’s optional. For military flights our flight plan requires last name and phone number of PIC.
