Marielle and Megan discuss chapters 1-12 of January's BotM, The Sins We Hide by Scarlett Cole.

We open at a funeral where our hero Clutch/Landon is a pallbearer. The deceased is their former club president, who was the father of the new president, King/Uther. King and Clutch have been BFFs since they were kids, and now they're the 3rd generation of President/VP of their club, Iron Outlaws MC.

Gwen, King's twin sister, returns to the clubhouse for the first time since she was 13, when she and her mom disappeared into witness protection. She buried her mom that morning, after she was murdered, and arrives only to find her dad was buried that morning too. Clearly, something terrible is afoot.

Gwen and Landon were very close as kids, and were each other's first puppy love. They were both horribly sad to be ripped away from the other but they have completely different lives now. Despite that, they can't help but be happy to see each other, though Gwen's position is quite precarious with the club. They all think her mom informed on them, which led to a few deaths and a few members in prison for life, one of whom is Clutch's dad.

They thought their former prez died in a car accident when a semi truck hit his bike, so now they need to investigate it as a hit, and see what they can find out. Meanwhile, Gwen is NOT free to leave...
