Millie is making breakfast and a mysterious, dark SUV pulls up. She's having déjà vu, but thankfully, it just part of her team, coming to help her and Scott!! Fan favorite Wolfe, Brigid, and former MI-6 twins, Ian and Oliver. Turns out Brigid didn't keep her mouth shut after all, so here they are.

With more hands to share the workload now, they make plans, and Millie, Scott, and Wolfe head to Charleston to see one of the women who accused Clay in college. They learn a lot from her, including that one of Clay's college roommates was the prosecutor, Skinner!

The chief lets them know he finally got the security tapes from the gas station, and has to go home to watch them on his old VCR. But later that night Millie gets a panicked call from her friend June that a bunch of emergency vehicles are headed towards the chief's house. Someone shot him, set a fire, and stole the tapes!!

They get a tip from Clay's youngest brother, who is away in college, that they used to hide things in trees they could see from their house as kids. They go the Clay's cabin, which is still a crime scene, and find a metal box buried next to a tree outside. They find vials of liquid they assume is whatever he dosed Millie with, and a bunch of tapes with names on them. They fear what's on them, and they're right. But the good news is that Skinner is on the tapes too, so he's DONE.

Millie goes to Verna's baby shower, and discovers the ID of the killer, and the unhinged lengths they went to, to implicate Millie, and why. Millie is in trouble, but while figuring a way out, Scott and her team show up to help her!

Millie & Scott declare their love for each other. A few days later, Millie successfully appeals her termination, and gets a permanent transfer to the Deep Ops team!
