I really hope you put good tires on it. The single best upgrade you can do on a car is having good tires. It not only improves the handling and launch but safety also. Tires before Turbo. Remember kids.
I drove my Forte 2019around 800 km a week, its great, top speed for almost two and half hours at 170-180, smooth and control, when driving the same distance at 120km/h is gas saver around 5 lt per 100km
Put the car in sport and really see her move
I just bought one 2019 Kia Forte lxs just lost for word so fast so nice of a car and Audi designer designed it for those who didn’t know best bang for ur buck

I hope that cvt transmission holds up.. one of my friends who drives like a maniac ended up replacing his in about a year(warranty covered, fortunately). Same driving style, says he had no problems with his previous forte.
I might be wrong but I believe that's a Dual clutch not a cvt.
@@GPN007a it's a cvt. Pretty easy to know that from sound alone.
@@GPN007a the gt with the 1.6 turbo has a 7 speed dual clutch traditional transmission you are correct, but this one in the video is the lower model gt “line” with the cvt and non turbocharged 2.0 4 cylinder.
Just bought wife new car and part of the buy was NO CVTtrans
It is not a traditional CVT, it is an IVT. Which means in the transmission it uses a chain, rather than a belt in a CVT. In translation, it should hold up better than any Nissan CVT
Have mine up to 130-140 on almost daily basis, ride is smooth, handles great. Still haven’t see what she’ll go to yet though.
The 19” ex tops at 123 mph with the limiter still tryna figure how to remove it ggrrr

@@samcarter3327 yeah it’s got a factory limiters I’m having the motor rebuild after the piston rings blew at 50 k miles then Kia said I needed a new cluster then that took another two months now the valve seals leaking bc they rebuild the motor with oil gaskets and didn’t do a proper engine overhaul they wanted to charge me over 10 grand for a “new motor “ but all they swapped out was the block and used the old top end smh total scum bags they won’t even give me the build sheet
🤔over 120mph, that's pretty impressive. Especially since it's not even a GT. Which I'm sure can pull that plus a little bit more.
I think that's Kilometers per hour bro so that 120 is more like 70 mph.

It is in mph, read the speedometer exactly! And it was driven on German autobahn which has no speed limit part there

As a 2020 lxs owner the kia is pepe in sport mode it'll spin the tires to from rain while in it
But ima be honest I havent driven any brand new cars or cars in general (like my trusty 1500) so it might just feel peppy lol
I would want to see the rpms at those speeds. I would expect the cvt to overheat driving at those speeds.

That's not true. I put 30k on mine and regularly drive 90mph. It's a slow reliable car, but not super slow.

I got a 2022 Forte EX little over a month ago here in Ottawa and I'm loving it so far. Quick for a 4 banger. Handles great. Feels more like a luxury vehicle.
Gets thrashy over 80 MPH.
@zedone8253 if you drive fast, it gets thrashy and loud over 80 MPH. You're better off with 6 speed Mazda 3. I had both. Mazda is much more civilized.
my 22 Soul 2.0/IVT also stops at 122mph, must be the max speed the trans can handle...

CVT has shift points to make it behave like a regular trans.

yes handling was smooth, if ungoverned top speed would be 130-140 mph, in my experience lots 150 hp european cars can do 140 mph
