First saw the original "King Kong" on TV when I was 12. Loved it ever since. Saw the Peter Jackson remake in theaters a year later. One of the best remakes ever IMO.

I have to admit Kong sure has come a long way since he first started out as an 18 inch maquette back in 1933 and I'm sure if the guys Willis O'Brien and Ernest Shoedshack were alive today I'm sure they would be surprised how far the creature they brought to life has come since they're days.

Original score was replaced; the dialogue and the sound were changed as well.
