Hello! I love your videos, as someone GMing Waterdeep: Dragon Heist they're incredibly useful and they're easy to follow too. If you take requests, would you consider at some point doing a video about the Bregan d'Aerthe and another about the church of Ilmater? In any case, thank you for your uploads! 😄
Excellence video. I have watched nearly your entire channel and do plan on finishing it all this week. If I could make a request though, could you do a video on the history and church of Shaundukal?
@@ForgottenRealmsHistory He disappeared without a trace after the Spellplague. But I think they're gonna do him like they did Waukeen after the Time of Troubles.
@Michael Celestino its not a correlation, and not about the accent. About world building lore told from a character in the world which make it more immersive. A lot of lore its just said from a player perspective, or youtuber itself. Couldnt care less of the accent use for this or that
We actually have a problem with the Gauntlet. It exists only in 5ed, and seem to be a remix of several Paladin Orders, using the Triad as the cornerstone, and throwing Hoar in there to make it more "gritty". - I want to do one, just don't know how to frame it correctly in-lore.
Have just restarted a campaign and had to scrap my original idea. I prefer political fantasy and needed a nudge in the right direction. It's impossible to say how great this video was for that end except to say that it felt like stumbling upon an oasis as a very thirsty man!
Well, its really down to each city. Waterdeep has a 30.000 that can go up to 100.000 during war times. - But how well trained are they? Do they have the ability to travel? - I think Cormyr would give them a good fight, but Zhentarim might be able to muster a better fighting group as they have the logistics in order.
@@ForgottenRealmsHistory I think Larael or the hundreds of mages of Waterdeep are not to be underestimated, not to mention the Blackstaff. Baldur's Gate has powerful merc and knightly forces, Neverwinter is probably too weak at current but they do rely on adventurers.
My character in Adventure League a drow of the House Xorlarrin is a Warduke and will soon be having a grand coronation party as he becomes a Lion Crown at his estate in Phlan👑🤴🏼🕸🕷👍🏼👍🏼💯
Again, faking the accent, while fancy and a bit immersive, just makes me not be able to listen for more than 1-2 minutes. This happens almost every time when I watch your videos =/ When a part of your speech is not coming out naturally, you end up putting too much conscious emphasis on it, and other parts of your speech get neglected and begin to fall apart - in this case, the flow of your sentences, as well as the tone. And those are crucial parts of narration to keep the listener's attention and interest. Further, sentences have been stitched together via edits and their flow is even more disjointed. Lastly, I suggest making your script available somewhere for people to read.
One of our members usually uploads the final script as official captions within a couple of days of the video going live. Looks like this one got missed, though.... I'll look into that.
This stuff really helps me with my Waterdeep campaign
100% agree
This is what I'm talking about great job guys!
Nice video, good info, the Lords Alliance is under used in a lot of Realms campaigns.
Very good! Like the faction video. We just started Dragon Heist and have been approached by many factions.
Glad to see our work be helpful :)
Mmmmm, that's music brings me back. "Kacheek kachook kacha!"
Never knew about this faction, well done!
Another great video! Thanks a million
Great work!
Just what I needed! One of my players wants his character to join the Lords' Alliance and now I can make better preparations for it!

The Rider of the Winds? Not heard much about him since 3rd edition. Will add him to the list :)

The video is awesome as always 👍🏼👍🏼💯😎
Could you could do a in depth video on the history of beholders?
Beholders don't really have a History... they have a planet, but thats another story ;)
Which rank would Sildar Hallwinter be?
I wish they was more DnD stuff narrated that way.... its more immersive :(

Order of the Gauntlet next?

*Sees* The Lord's Alliance
*Hears* Neverwinter Nights music
*Dies* from nostalgia TwT
Is there more than one lioncrown or a few?
There is a few.
@@ForgottenRealmsHistory thank you im building a similar guild and wanted some reference but couldn't find any
amazing fluff!

Yes but how big are the LA's armies?

Like a medevil NATO pact.
Maybe bit more tiny UN than nato, but its pseudo military alliance to advance local trade so why not.
I would agree with NATO - They want to be a counter to certain organized factions, and train armies to make sure that they retain their control.

Noticed 1min into the video. Not bad thou, but still feels a bit forced with elongated low pitches.

i'd subscribe, but i hate this voice acting.
