Thanks for video. Could you tell me where to look for solution in case of missfires only right after starting the cold engine. It goes away after 10-15sec. It gets worse when its summer. In the winter its way better. Solenoids are new. Have fresh distribution and coils. Could that be leaky injectors ?
I've used some Chinese parts before. Some are ok, some are downright bad, bad, bad or fail after a couple of months. The eccentric shaft sensor is one that I would replace with a genuine one. Getting that valve cover off can be a little frustrating, but better than most. Just turned 300K miles on my wife's N52 328i. It's solid.
I change the CrankShaft Position Sensor due to fault the PCV and the breather hoses. I am now having misfires on 5 and 6. I change the coils and its does not follow. Should I do spark plugs?
Cheers for all the help to the BMW community mate, I have a question for you. I have an E92 320D and the lights under the footwell, headlights and door lights are all flickering whenever I have the lights on. The indicator is also flickering really fast on one side, I did replace the battery but the issue is still there unfortunately and Im genuinely at a loss here. Do you reckon that a shot bulb on the headlight could cause all these electrical issues? The previous owner did have this car parked for almost 2 years prior.
Hey Dean! I have a question for you, i live in north east pa USA and the winter here are freezing for months, just wondering if I should switch to bmw 0w-30 LL-01fe oil for the winter conditions? I read that bmw supersedes this oil compared to their 5w-30. And would that oil make my ccv system a total smoke bomb because my work is so close to my house less than 4 miles away. Or should I just stick with 5w-30 it has 178,250 miles on it. It’s an 07 530xi
Hey buddy- 5w-30 will flow just fine. Very minimal difference to the 0w-30. Unless you are up in the Klondike 40 below etc, 5w30 is what I would run. I Live in Utah and get some brutal winters. 5w30 actually flows better in some conditions. I have a 08 528xi and I am running the new valvoline 5w30 restore and protect. It is awesome for cleaning the carbon buildup, but slow enough it doesnt damage or plug the filter. Anyhow, just my 2c, good luck buddy! Jeremy
Hii I have a 2010 e90 330i which has no fault codes buts i am only getting 11mpg i dont know if its okey or what should be the expected mpg or what is the cause help me please.......i cant with this mpg😢
@@slayerjack319 check if your local pump is giving high ethanol fuel E10-E20, if that’s the case then forget getting more than 10-11 mpg. Premium fuel is usually E5 those work better.
Click here to buy the scan tool talked about in this video : amzn.to/3AhCzgh
is it woth paying the extra £20.00 for the v2.0 of the tool or just save the money and get the standard LAUNCH X431 Elite PRO?
