So you seem to have caught it but Abengane this episodes is the first person we see perform nen exorcism, which is something mentioned by Chrollo as possibly the only way of getting rid of Kurapika's chains. And ye great episode, there's been a lot of training episodes recently but the story is progressing which is something the show balances really well imo

And in Kurapika's case, this is where his Emperor Time shine as it allow him to using all categories as 100% effectively and efficiently. But as you saw it drained him so much by using the ability.
