Dude! It’s so cool to have an inside perspective of the Freedom 500. I always kinda figured they were pretty gnarly races! And for Randy being a pro, to talk about it the way he did, mad respect to him and to Cleetus for putting on the show! 🤘🏻

I have a lot of merch from auto content creators, mostly hoodies and tees, cleetus is always fun to see what all you get with your order, tools (10mm), stickers, srt10 trucks. Class acts, our TH-cam auto culture. Even our friends that bailed on us are still pretty dope (roadkill) it's awesome to see how they all speak about each other with respect. It's about the cars and the connections they bring us.
Cleetus takes safety very seriously and is above and beyond what would be expected from some dude from TH-cam. Hell yeah brother

The Toyota was driven by Ryan Tuerck, a Toyota sponsored Formula Drift driver - not a nascar driver. It went out because of damage.

What a great storyteller! Listening to Randy reminded me of listening to my father-in-law explain a hare scramble race. The accuracy in the details regarding the risks and dangers of the race are always spot on. Although, I’m only half his age and it just never seems as dangerous or risky to me. Lol

Randy I watched that Race, I'm not a Road race guy but I have spent time on Dirt sliding through the Tree's and I'm with you 100% on safety and how it hurts when you hit something.
Much as I love Kev Smith and many of the Cleetus people I've had to quit watching his channel because of the showmanship side of it all I just dont enjoy it anymore so now I watch KSR and love it and other Cartubers like Vinwiki, Hoovie and Boostedbois (Even though im not a Honda guy)

The nascar driver he’s referring to isn’t a nascar driver it’s pro drifter Ryan tuerk who has a brand deal with toyota that required him to be in a toyota to race

I saw some videos from the FF500 and the events around it. Not all of it looked like it was really safe. I love Cleetus and am so happy for all he has been able to do, but I hope safety is taken more seriously next time.

Derek from Vice Grip did great until well... you know.
They should have given the Toyota guy an LS400. It would have been much closer to equal. A Camry is FWD and worthless in a race against Crown Vics. The LS400 is RWD and extremely durable.

Randy just kindly shredded Cleetus’s event. I mean, what did you expect? Garret, Alex, Hailey, Kevin, and he himself were some of the only people that had race experience. Weird to see him shoot like that.
For a racing driver, Randy seems to have smaller balls than Hailey Deegan, who now has ran 3 races in the Freedom Factory and a big ego.
I liked watching the Freedom 500 from the POV of Derek from Vice Grip Garage. He's such a nice fella.

Cletus learned a lot from that race. The last race was a lot more race and a lot less destruction derby. The biggest take out was actually Kurt Busch taking out Kevin Smith for the win. So they didn’t invite some guys back and actually added a few rules. Every race is getting better.

racing has never been "dying" . The corporate, restricted crap they call NASCAR has been and is dying............

I live next to a drag strip, I think since cleet and covid being over the number of people have doubled. Not sure why but it was definitely dying out before this last year.

He also has added a new twist which is solid gold. Running it as a pay per view is brilliant. The demo derby just for fun racing with pay per view is bringing it to a wide audience and turning a beat-up old racetrack into a paying business. It is brilliant.
Your giving him a little to much credit. Cleetus is great but he didn’t do anything for all forms of racing. The only thing he’s done for is his own track and a little bit for street car drag racing.

I love Randy, but still happy Kevin won that race. That bit at the end about Randy's car being the last man standing - awesome; and not surprising, anyone that can drive the draguar around Willow Springs and run a serious race car up Pikes Peak is gooood.
Thanks, Kstrictl ! I'm happy for Kevin, too. I have actually raced with him in HIS car, too, winning at Sebring Champcar endurance at least once. The guy is good. Cleetus is smart to work with him.
In the freedom factory crew's defence that was the first race they ever hosted, they've been making alot of progress in rules and other things to bring up the safety levels of these races
The story is great, but I'm really happy about the success the Freedom Factory is having. What a cool venue / event calendar.

Be kind to the Crown Vics guys, they are the last traditional American car we will ever get and they stopped building them 11 years ago. Don't take them for granted they will be hard to find before you know it.
Yup. Remember the late 70s Mopar B bodies that were cop cars on every TV show in the early 80s? You never see those anymore.
Randy complaining about the unskilled TH-camrs, yet in a later race Kurt Busch punted Kevin Smith out of the way to take the win. The wildness of the Freedom Factory is what makes it great, we don't want boring cookie cutter car races like the crap in Nascar.
My favorite part of that race was when Denofa said screw it and started just sending it into the corner completely sideways 😂
The fact that Randy can get just as excited about ANY car from a clapped out retired cop car to a pagani or a hypercar tells me everything I need to know about him as a car guy
