Thanks for clarifying about how deep you're diving for them. We're sport divers, but my ears won't allow me to go below 82 feet! I'm really enjoying these videos, and appreciate the wonderful job you're doing. Thanks!!
Good job on the reef, fellas. I noticed some Lionfish along a rocky edge inside a local marina. The only think is there are lots of no swimming or fishing signs posted. Have you ever thought of diving those types of locations? Just a thought. Peace!
Still love the "Boom", and laughed at the sock puppet. Not sure if you check the comments but if so, does watching and liking your video's contribute anything to helping you out? I'm not sure how YT's monetary feature works...
TH-cam pays fractions of a penny per view sadly. So it is better than nothing, but not by much, unless the uploader stuffs their videos full of ads by sponsors
A lot of people don't know Hallandale Beach Florida,is a great fishing 🎣 location with amazing, rare fish and saltwater and frsh water fish, it's a great fishing location by the Walmart over there close under the bridge and at the end of the parking lot, and at Three Island Park, Joseph Scavo Park.🙌🏻🎣☀️
I like how you voice over the videos. Keep it up. "BOOM!" I appreciate how you respect the ecosystem an environment. And nothing goes to waste. The fish are killed to be eaten. God Bless You and your team 🙏
I saw in other videos that the divers offer speared lion fishes to sharks, groupers and other fishes to get them used to eating lion fish. If I am not mistaken, comments were that the sharks does not feel the venom from eating the lion fishes can you offered some speared lion fish to get natural predators to eat lionfish? haha
From what I read, the wholesale price is typically US$ 6 per lb (larger lionfish only), but maybe he has more generous customers. I don't think that you can make a living out of that.
I've watched a lot of your videos and I'm just curious why you dont leave the dead ones there for other fish to eat? Maybe they will acquire a taste for them.
So not that im overly concerned with the suffering of an invasive species but im curious. Do they die instantly when u stab them or does it take a min? In my experience with fish they survive quite a bit, I've seen one bitten in half still tryin to swim around. Granted it was just the lower half n u get most urs in the head, so im sure its different. But ya just curious, either way I still support ur effort.
The barbs are for defense. They eat by cornering a fish (Its fanlike, barbed fins help with the cornering) and opening its very large mouth to make a suction and bring the fish in.
The fish start to associate divers with food and pursue them, begging for more - this is dangerous for both divers and fish. Maybe if they took them out of spear first, that would work.
Really like a few seconds on other fish and hearing them identified. Thank you

BOOM..... your awesome 👌😊
*I notice most are small, that is a sign they are under pressure, not just your boat, bit others as well.*
They are not living long enough to grow up.
Whats the cost of the average dive?
Awesome
BOOM! Shishkabob! 😎👍❤
What does it take to go lionfish hunting?
........
Oh, ok. I'll just live vicariously through you.

I did, feel better now?
@@sdcoinshooterl do feel better, thanks! 😊
Would small lionfish possibly recover from the spear strike? If not, maybe leave them wounded on the seabed so wildlife could take care of them?
so relaxing
What kind of spear do you use?
Pointy

They would associate the divers with food, not lionfish. Maybe if thet took them out of spear though...

Another new video👍👍. Do the lionfish use their stinger barbs to kill its prey or are they just for defense purposes?

Booom 😂😂😂😂
How many does it take to make it commercially viable?
Speak less, please🙏
Disagree 😊
Disagree
