Personally I think it's time it stopped. King Victor Emannuel of Italy exiled to Pope to the Vatican for being a land-grabber and was excommunicated and damned to hell by that pope. Maybe it's time the Iranian People exiled their therocrats to a theme park somewhere outside Tehran so they could still preserve their religious culture without having to have their minority children lynched and forced to have their genitals mutilated by the religious leaders in the name of their loving god.

But the fact is that their language and culture and gene is the same. It's just religion that separated them. It's unique in the world (at least as what i know)

Poet simply says for better understanding, put yourself in others' position, and let other put themselves in your position, to understand your difficulties, just like heart and soul (by 'Jaan' poet means 'soul' allegorically). So that later we do not blame each other that ''we are way different from each other and may be we should better part our ways''. Iran a country that has soo much to offer, and deserve so much better than what they have now. Completely amazed me. I went there two times each for a month in 2017, and 2018. I know good and bad people are everywhere, but I've never met anyone bad in Iran?! All people are super friendly to me, and is in their blood. I know I am just a traveler, and i will never understand how it actually feel to live in Iran. They’re so sweet and welcoming! I’m glad that generally, they know that American people, Regardless of political party, don’t think Iranians are inherently bad people. They’re proud of their beautiful, modernizing country and I think the US attempts to stranglehold their economy are so destructive to what could be a great relationship

As an Iranian, I say that the real face of Iran is very terrible. It is not hard to live in a country that has had inflation for fifty years. It is unbelievable. To make money, they sometimes take terrorists hostage to get money from the United States, which they do over and over again. Get lucky, you detainee, there is a government that loves killing children and raping women, the ruler of Iran has a sexually transmitted disease and enjoys killing his enemies with radioactivity, ninety percent of Iran's income is spent on foreigners like Palestine, Lebanon and Syria, while These countries hate Iranians. In Iran, people are looking to sell their body parts so they don't die of hunger, but you don't see anything like that in the streets of Iran, because Iranian people are used to not showing that they are miserable because of our pride. Five hundred Iranian children, women and boys were massacred to protest hunger, women are only offered sex in the courts, Iran's lakes have dried up, people don't have much water, they don't have gas and electricity, the real face of Iran is terrible, this is what the people of Iran say, not one the tourist
Iran is mostly dry. Just a part of it's north is green although i think that part is same size as a small European country. Iran is so big so most of it's people don't live in dry/desert area like Persian gulf countries.

When I was a teenager in the waning years of the cold war, I asked my father why the Russian people hated us. He said it wasn't the people who hated us, just the government. For the rest of my life I've extrapolated that to all other countries who "hate" us. Iran is no exception. I've met many Iranians over the course of a long career, and they are pleasant, educated, cultured, and nice to be around. Many great people find themselves tarnished by a bad government. Most people, wherever they happened to be born, just want to live a peaceful life. We can be kind to each other without approving of the government that they have limited (or no) control over.
Our government is better than America at least they dont kill others American government is trying to hurt Iranian and there is no different between Trump and other president but we know that American people dont want to hurt others but your government ...

As a first generation Iranian-American, I appreciate this video / series. I went to Iran with my father (who was born and raised there), mother (born and raised in Philadelphia), and brother in 2009. We had a wonderful time being immersed in the Persian culture, traveling through the cities and into the villages. People were very respectful of us and to us. They had a lot of questions about American way of life. I wish the Iranian people were more free- the government beholds them to a way of life they do not want.
You were lucky that you were not arrested in Iran. Just a few days ago, the Iranian government released foreign and American hostages to get money. We Iranians say that this is the place where elite youths die. They kill children and rape women during protests. Then you want to say something. Do you believe the tourist? Did he live in Iran for fifty years?! Maybe the government of Iran gave him money, and not all of them are going to be arrested. Among the tourists, some are arrested to get money from America. The ruler of Iran has a sexually transmitted disease and loves to kill with radioactivity. He has brought 80% of Iran below the poverty line. You cannot prefer the confession of the Iranian people

@@awesomeproductreviews9962 your reply is *exactly* why it should be shown in schools. You go on about their BS propaganda while being oblivious to the fact that you've been brainwashed by America's BS propaganda. It's a bit like me being shown videos of Americans screaming abuse at little black kids going to school with white kids, seeing films about how black and white people weren't allowed to ride on buses or drink from water fountains together and deciding that *all* Americans are vile racists. Or seeing ranting religious nutjobs and seeing white 'religious' people hurling abuse at gay people and thinking that *all* Americans are Vile, hate filled god bible thumpers. Believe me, if Iranians get taught by their government to hate America, a few of them will. Most of them won't of course. The more enlightened and intelligent ones will know propaganda and refuse to believe it, and some, probably people like yourself, will believe it and hate. Your government *needs* you to hate because Iran has discovered 86 billion barrels of oil and America *wants* it. Trump himself said he thinks it belongs to America. America seems to think it's in charge of the world. It isn't, and the rest of the world resent America's constant judgement and interfering and abuse. I'll tell you what would MAGA. 9:52 He says: "this is the law of human rights." By law he means that cylindrical stone object in the hands of Cyrus the Great is an inscription of the world first written human rights. It is amazing to know that those laws include "freedom of religion". The original stone object was made 500 BC by Cyrus the Great the first king of ancient Persia and currently is in British Museum, London.
Actually the Cyrus Cylinder does not have any legislative statements regarding the abolishment of slavery. Iran practiced serfdom, which isn't chattel slavery but still slavery nonetheless.
@@tasinal-hassan8268 True, but the influential religion in the Persian Empire was Zoroastrian and Buddhism. Zoroasterian undermines slavery as a whole and they often used principals from their religion to dictate certain retributions and restitution in the Royal Sassanid courts.

I guarantee that you will be invited over to a stranger’s house before you leave the airport! They will house you, feed you, transport you, show you around, hug you, call you their friend, tell you all the places you should visit, and tell you to come back any time. And this will repeat anywhere you go! Don’t be shy to ask for help, with anything you need. And if they don’t speak your language, they will search until they find someone who does!
@Tully Merrick During the Iran Iraq war, every single year my extended family relied on exactly this kind of kindness. At some point the bombings would get so bad, that we would drive out of Tehran, looking for a place less likely to get bombed. Not so much hotels in such places. So we would knock on doors of random strangers and ask if we could stay with them for the night. Not once were we ever turned down. Not once in 8 years. We would offer to pay money, but most of the time they wouldn't let us. They let us in, they fed us, and told us reassuring funny reasons why their little town would never get bombed. Like it's hard to order a place to be bombed if you no one can pronounce the name, or that when Saddam put Iran's map on his wall, he put the pushpin right on their town. Then we came to the US. We stayed at my aunt's house rent free for a year. Wouldn't even let us pay for food. People helped us enroll in school, buy cloths, look for jobs, gave advice on how to get into college, even took us to Disneyland! And they did it happily because when they first came, someone did it for them. So we have done what we can for those who came after us too. And not just for the Persians. If you are ever in Los Angeles, I would love to meet you, show you around town, and treat you to some Persian food!
I had the same reaction that you experienced when you said were going to Iran. I visited Iran in 2016, and I spent an incredible three weeks in that amazing country. Everything about it, the wonderful hospitality of the people, the food, the Islamic architecture and the staggering beauty of the Naqsh-e-Jahan square in Isfahan. It’s just unfortunate that the country is in the grip of notorious corrupt government that gives Iran such a bad name in the rest of the world. If you are thinking about visiting Iran, do it. You won’t regret it, you will come into contact with some of the most welcoming, friendliest people you could possibly meet.

@@reapthewhirlwind2114 .Unfortunatly I do imagine how much alike most men have made their gods to hate for the sake of controlling the masses by elitism while discriminatig against the few.

Poet simply says for better understanding, put yourself in others' position, and let other put themselves in your position, to understand your difficulties, just like heart and soul (by 'Jaan' poet means 'soul' allegorically).

We had a wonderful time being immersed in the Persian culture, traveling through the cities and into the villages. People were very respectful of us and to us.

I had a Persian friend in college in the 1990's. I love him and his family. We are still best friends. He is so calm, loving and kind to everyone. I visited Iran in 1992 and witnessed some of the most welcoming people ever. I will visit again soon.
Where are you from bro?
Why suprised? Persian people and Iranian nation exists centuries before Americans. Ofcourse they are educated, normal and proud people. World exists outside of USA, too.
As a native American I very much disagree. My family/ancestors have been here for much much longer. Chill out to, why so defensive?
@@shyryTsr2k He obviously is referring to the Immigrant Europeans not native Indigenous people.
@@milads4070 If he meant that he should have said it. I'm tired of people thinking there are no natives anymore...we are still here and very much alive and we still have our tribal land. My tribe has never been conquered however the whites came and outbred us but that doesn't mean we're extinct. And i would very much rather the United States be mostly white than black/Arab/Indian or any other race. We tolerated whites here even though they did backstab us, they still helped us and we helped them. We didn't expect blacks/Arabs or other races coming. Just...throwing that out there.
@@shyryTsr2k Having 0.1% native ancestory doesn't count as being Native American

All Americans should watch this. This should be shown in schools.
i was absolutely thinking this too
It probably is.
Sorry, we can't get past them screaming Death to America. My child wouldn't be allowed to watch their BS propoganda
@@spudwesth NOT
@@awesomeproductreviews9962 your reply is *exactly* why it should be shown in schools.
Stay home, mind your own beeswax, get on with your lives, never leave your own country, pull up the drawbridge or build a big wall around it. Then the world would be a safer and happier place.

Sajad, thanks for the interesting information!
Actually the Cyrus Cylinder does not have any legislative statements regarding the abolishment of slavery. Iran practiced serfdom, which isn't chattel slavery but still slavery nonetheless.
@@tasinal-hassan8268 I have researched more about the text, and u are right. Slavery was not mentioned in the cylinder whatsoever. Thanks.
@@tasinal-hassan8268 True, but the influential religion in the Persian Empire was Zoroastrian and Buddhism. Zoroasterian undermines slavery as a whole and they often used principals from their religion to dictate certain retributions and restitution in the Royal Sassanid courts.
@@devastabandz I'm not sure if Buddhism was practiced in pre-Islamic Iran. Zoroastrianism is more close to monotheistic Abrahamic faiths than the Dharmic ones.

As a Polish citizen, I'm ashamed of the Polish politicians and their position toward Iran. Totally blown away by this, i'm so shocked, not what i expected at all. Beautiful places friendly unique and genuine people. just wow. I want to go there haha!
I love Iran .
Big hugs from Bergamo Italy.

I had the same reaction that you experienced when you said were going to Iran. I visited Iran in 2016, and I spent an incredible three weeks in that amazing country. I visited Shiraz,Yazd, Persepolis, Isfahan, Abyaneh, Kashan and Tehran. I found the country to be absolutely mind blowing.

I can say to most people that are rightfully tricked by the news and politics that Iran is a very safe and peaceful country. And that has been in a crisis for the last 40 years since the Islamic revolution, so the Iranian people are always trying to represent and show the world that we aren't what the new is saying we are at all!
Long live Iran/Persia!
