The "calf catcher" is a pretty awesome tool, not that you need told that! You definitely don't need it for the little guy you bottle feed everyday! He'll be tough to not get attached too but that's why everybody doesn't do it. Nice video, hope all goes well this year from now on!

Interestingly (ot not) on Jeremy Clarkson's Farm 3 on Prime, they are planting beans and wheat together. The beans provide the nitrogen thus eliminating having to fertilise. They are harvested together and then separated. In the UK corn refers to wheat, barley, oats and rye. Your corn is maize.

Every year we get a huge on return on all the nitrogen we put in. We harvest 300 bushel corn and 120 to 130 bushel on beans.
