What about maralen of the mornsong and this card. Lmao, if they dont stop it on the spot you'll lock them out the game.
I actually think it is valid. Quite amazing. You kinda have to flash in the agent at end step. Take your turn get maralen of the mornsong and pass and hope no one got spot removal.
As a Yissan player I REALLY hate this card.
We finally got some decent support and then Wizards drops this.....
Yea, a lot of Commanders in cEDH just become unplayable bad just because this exists.
this card is gonna steal so many games via demonic consultation
I dosen't inretact with demonic consultation. But it can steal it. I guess that was what you meant.
@@cedhtv yea thats what I mean. Having access to your opponent's combo pieces might mean that it's more advantageous to play combos that are already popular, which may be kind of annoying since it may dampen the diversity of some players
I know it. That you make a Card review about this card.
I coulden't resist.
Wishclaw talisman, i tutor this card, next turn someone activate the talisman, i play this card, i'm going to value town baby
The memes won't just be dreams!
That was fast Mons
I don't think anything convinced me of this cards power level more than Mons saying don't let your memes be dreams
hahahaha well. Stealing an intuition is now on my achivment list.
I have been preaching about this card to all my friends and none of them seem to care. They will pay some day soon for sleeping on this card, mark my words!
OHHH they are going to be soooo sorry!!
RIP Yisan
yeah he isen't that happy about this one I guess.
Welp. Maralen is going to get banned. Same thing happened with Leovold and Teferi's Puzzle Box. When a two card combo locks people out of the game, they ban one of the two cards. And do you think they will ban a chase rare when has the rules Committee by the balls? Nope
Aven mindcensor on steroids Mons 🤣
Yeap!
This is going to ruin a lot of Commander Drafts; if I open this and 2 partners, I'm going to take this $10 card and a partner... and never see another legendary creature in pack 1.
As for the card itself; I really wish this cost 1BB to make it easier to play around and splashing more difficult.
Krark and this make me feel like Lightning Bolt needs to be in this set, at (C). Krark needs a removal spell that it can play reliably w/o skipping your turn, and this needs instant speed answers against it.
WOAH.
Whats that? You are trying to fetch your land on turn 1 or 2? Too bad. Now is my land 😵. The card is simply amazing for the sheer number of things it can do.
YES! There is even a bigger dream here. SOmeone cast demonic tutor. SOmeo ne is planing on responding by counterspelling it. But in order to do that they first crack a featchland. NOW you cast opposition agent and TAKE BOTH!
@@cedhtv do you think that paired with Maralen of the mornsong will be a competitive tech or only for casual? You are locking your enemies from drawing and tutoring at the same time but only as opposition agent is on the field
Its the edgy stepchild of aven mindcencer and narsets reversal
Pod/Farm newest nightmare
I think this is going to be the biggest nightmare for a lot of decks.
'best cedh card in this set', while it might be true... It's.. not cut and dried with jeweled lotus... Deck dependant. Who would have thought it would be close :D
You spoke too soon, Mons lmfao
I did?
Mons... maralen might be playable now...
Well. That is FUN! and honestly GG if no one got spot removal. But it only works if you first get Agent in play first and then get maralen in after and pass turn.
wait, why do you like this? its extremeliy good against sisay and everyone is gonna play it
I play all kinds of decks. And this card is quite my style. Don't think I will loss much as sisay. Sisay alredy had problems with aven mindscensor.
Good God this thing is busted... I feel like I would have been enough for you to just be able to control why searching BUT you also get the card!!! Good grief WOTC this isn't power creep anymore, it's power leap!
I would still probably crack a fetch land while my opponent had this in play tbh
you sure. You will give away the land to an opponent from your deck.
@@cedhtv yeah I'm famous for forgetting that Ashiok is in play on Arena. So I'm confident that I'll misplay with Opposition Agent
I really hate it when Wotc prints cards like that, because this is almost a MUST play card for every black cEDH deck... Cards like that are killing deck diveversity :/
This is true my only argument is it’s not green or blue. This means decks that are like Mardu get to run it I am having a love hate relationship with this card I think it’s an awesome card but it’s gonna screw over me sometimes.
Its hard to imagine any deck with black mana that does not get better with this included.
Its just way too strong, unless a metagame with absolutely no tutors of any kind would exist (which is only possible in the most casual of casual tables).
I just hate that we have another auto-include. What kind of self-respecting cEDH-deck wouldn't play this monstrosity?
The question is, what happens when, inevitably, two players have it in play?
There is a rule called time stamp. The newest takes over I think. I am not a judge so don't take my word for it but I am 99% sure we will follow timestamp.
This card is absolutely insane, sisay players crying 😭
I think a lot of decks are going to have problems with this one.
I hate how much this card hurts Sisay
