Curves are not exclusive to black women. 95 of white women don't get injections but 95 percent of black women straighten their hair. Cornrows on white girls are also rare.

Do a panel on how the pushing of "Black Love" is a disservice to black women. If black men can marry out at a rate of 25%, WHY are black women in this day and age, not seeking eligible, quality men of other races for love and companionship? Alexia Mara my point was that by her wanting to be assertive and a leader, the man will look at her as being less womanly. No man wants to be bossed around by a woman. Women should work on being a warm, pleasant, and easy-going spirit instead of wanting to be the rulers of men. It’s almost on the spiritual level at this point.

I truly believe that a Black Woman's beauty is the most profound and unique. Black Women are one of most unique in that our woman can come in variety of skin tones, hair textures, lip sizes, body shapes and national groups and cultures, and still be considered Black Women. Their beauty is the most enduring. Tell me: How many crows feet do you see on a 60 year old Black Woman's face? While there can be some improvement when it comes to diet and weight issues (with proper lifestyle and dietary choices they can improve) our women maintain their beauty well into their golden years.
There is improvement needed in white women and other races as well when it comes to weight. Black men seem to complain about the weight of a black woman but still choose to date fat overweight white women.

Thank you!! Not everyone I’ve dated was perfect and I’m not either but I’ve had a cool dating life, dated black men (American and non American) and outside my race. Could of married but wasn’t ready. Idk i think the more we focus on the negative the bigger it appears. Just live life and romantic love may come or not come. This is a sensitive subject, but it's one worth looking into. The claim that black women are supposedly the 'least desired' is not only harsh, but one has to ask "They are the least desired to who, exactly? Non-black men?" Black men 'still' do date and marry black women in the U.S. today. If 70 percent of black women are single, then the glass is 30 percent full for black women. In addition, some black women date and marry outside of their race, which makes many black men uncomfortable, but oh well. I am a white man, and when I was in college a number of my professors were 'black women' and I addressed them as 'doctor' or 'professor.' In addition, one of my medical doctors is a black woman, and she has prescribed 'life saving' medicine for me that I could only get with a blue script approved by an MD. In addition she has 'remained' at the doctor's office I go to for over 4 years, while many 'non-black doctors' have left that office because they were 'too overwhelmed' to deal with the large volume of patients and their challenges. My doctor is a 'strong black woman' in the best sense of the word. Another strong black woman is Condolleezza Rice, a member of MENSA, who speaks 5 languages, and who in my opinion 'should run' for President of the United States. Although Ms. Rice said she didn't feel that she would make a good President, I 'respectfully disagree' with her. I think that while she may have become a bit jaded from the exhaustive challenges she encountered working for the Bush administration, that she nonetheless has the tools for the job. Condolleeza Rice would be more of a uniter than a divider. In addition to being 'extremely intelligent', Ms. Rice is 'very modest' about her own capabilities and qualifications to be the 'leader of the free world'. Among 'every demographic' of Americans regardless of race or gender there are the good, the bad, the competent, and the incompetent. Well, that's my 2 cents on black women in the United States.

Now I can't help you with the BEAUTY portion. Either they find you physically attractive or they don't. You can try to make yourself more presentable (diet, exercise, sleep, make up etc...) Being "presentable" at least gives you --- more options in men. With that said all men won't be physically attracted to you, but the ones that are interested will gravitate towards you MORE because of your presentation. But the other 2 categories you DO HAVE MORE CONTROL OVER (ie Attitude/Chemistry and Baggage).

There are tons of non black men who also chase after light skin women or other races of women with fair skin complexions. Defining modern black women as independent is one of the key factors men run away. Relationship is about inter-dependncy. If you are independent you don't need us and we'll look for people who appear to be open for this inter-dependency.

We all previous to a relationship, have the ability to survive and go about our life's independent of a spouse, boyfriend or girlfriend. Overtime with trust, discussion and experience it could be a possibility to be a cohesive unit but to discount a woman because she is able to currently handle life well is a problematic and nonpositive . Also on the flipside to that there are many men who dislike it when their partner is too dependent on them and less independent. They feel used, taken advantage of and a bit disillusioned. So to state that the fact they are too independent and therefore less desirable or worthy of a relationship seems to be more on the negative side, is quite confusing, and bit nonsensical as the opposite is often used as a deterrent as well.

The majority of people in this world relied upon at one point or rely on people who care for them. Take that away that emotional and financial contribution and many would not fit your definition of independent. (Going to the doctors few can affored to go sans insurance or govt influence)
Not everyone will know or be able to do everything immediately. One can learn, (books/youtube/classes)and failing that utilize others experience. Many people don't physically build their home, do their own surgery or sew their own clothes but rely on those who can to do it for them. So if a woman or a man wants to employ the help of someone to help them get a car, plumbing, ac, computer etc. fixed I do not see what the issue is.

That aside you are right men have options if they have good careers and many black women get an education so that they can have more options as well. I am sure many of us (and by us I mean men and women of all races colors and creeds) were told that in order to escape poverty, to have more options that education is the key. So why fault them for trying to secure themselves financially. On another note some men want to be a provider, others do not want to feel like the only contributor and sometimes when this happens feel as if they are being taken advantage of or feel as if they can run the relationship/home like a dictatorship. Some men and women prefer a relationship where the man's word is the last word or is the only head of the household and others prefer a partnership and a form of equality/ back and forth with the last word. There are positive and negatives to both sides for the people in them but that is the choice they make. It seems that these women prefer to have a partnership, and be financially capable. The want a man that is ok with that as some men may not be.
Random thought: there is no way to make everyone happy but it's interesting to see how the response to some women who are trying to expand their options are pushed back against. Why are the men they are looking for a fantasy? Why is a partner a fantasy? It seem that if anything they are looking for men that bring similar or equivalent things to the table to what they bring, how and why is that problematic?
Shoot for the moon and if you miss you at least land among the stars, be the change you wish to see and so on as the sayings go. If you have no standards then anyone will do and if that is not what you want, need or are looking for then you will suffer this goes for men and women. If a woman decides to become educated, wait for a guy that meets their standards and build with them all while being opinionated why does the response evoke such a negative response?

Quick point of clarification I never said that you said that you did not find the ladies on the panel or black women in general physically attractive. At the end of the day who you are attracted to is your prerogative. I agreed with you that men, especially black men, who are educated, good job/prospects, no children have options. I tell that to my brother all the time. Ya'll have options... yes more than us. (Though I disagree with the 100K vs 40K aspect lol) But if we want to look into our options whats the issue? I would hope that if you had a daughter and a man was telling her that she should accept less than she what she deserves and know when to stfu just because he feels he has options that you would look at the child you raised and tell her to tell him to keep it moving. That she has options, that she has value and even though that one particular man or woman (happens in all types of relationships) could not see it is #1 not the end of the world or her fault, #2 not the end of her options and #3 definitely not the person she should be dealing with.
All that aside what I replied to and inquired about was the recalcitrant heifer comment, why women looking for a partner who brings what they bring to the table and meets their criteria is such an issue? You may not believe that they are worth it but there will be people who do. Also the point isn't just to be married especially if you are married to some one who does not respect or appreciate you (I am talking in regards to both women and men). Some women are not marriage material and that is across all races. The statement that the american black woman is not marriage material is incorrect as there are black women getting married... "marriage material" is a subjective phrase with the qualifier that if you are or were married you at one point were technically marriage material. Hi cd😊 a weave is a temporary hairstyle chosen for myriad different reasons...we don't routinely go as far as having "other races" hair surgically implanted into our scalps...we are speaking of the many women who have balked about our natural creator-given features. I think that dating different men at the same time and trying to not get too emotionally involved with just one person before it is mutually agreed upon is at reaction to how many men date now. I have heard stories and experienced it myself where you attempt to date one guy and you put a lot of time and energy into doing so only to have the guy take it half seriously as they are preoccupied with juggling dating other women. I had one guy tell me that he purposely dates other people when he really likes one particular woman so that he doesn't have all of his emotions tied to one person out of fear of being hurt. Many men are afraid to invest, or have a fear of missing out by investing in one woman and so they don't. In response many women have decided that they will do the same out of fear of putting in effort to have it not taken seriously.
On an aside sometimes dating different people can help you eliminate people in real time. It can help you realize what you need vs want. You may have an idea of what you want and then you experience it and realize that you were mistaken.
Last side note @DonaldTrumpisAffimativeActionforGOP some women want bad boys, some don't. I know many women who's eyes light up when they see a man play with a nephew or baby who want a good man who will be a good partner, and influence in their lives and the lives of their potential children. Who may not be the wealthiest but has ambition and is moving towards something. As I write this I suppose generalizations can make things more interesting and spark heated debates and conversations but in actuality it is a bit indolent and hurtful to progression.Then again to each his own! Though I am fairly certain that most people do not like being judged by stereotypes or have their desires assumed.
