Wow the color of that wooden door really warms up the room and balances out the color together with the natural woven wood shades /blinds. The flooring is definiately an upgrade from your rug. When you were talking about how the paintings grows and makes you feel invited -I felt that T.T. From the inside looking out it's like a staircase leading you to the door on both sides. The rythmn of the way they're hung just leads you to where you're supposed to go. It's wonderful ♥♥
It looks really nice, love the vinyl floor runner, the bigger mirror, but I would suggest though a plant on the table to give some height. The ornaments are all pretty much the same height and it needs some dimension.
Thank you for making the before and after shots have the same perspective!! I hate it when the before is always shown in the most unflattering light and angle and the after is perfectly shot not even giving me the same view of the room 🙈 These angles are everything I have ever wanted from a before and after comparison 🙌🏻

Now I feel like she finally takes into account the actual space she’s decorating. Look at her!👀 She’s teaching us even some technical stuff! Girl you rock!💜

Megan, I think you're an amazing designer and have a really good eye. Your designs are chic but not uptight which can be a hard line to toe. There is one element that I feel brings down the look and feel of your designs though, that being the way you frame art/prints. I used to be a custom framer so I'm biased but I truly feel properly framing your prints and art pieces would elevate your spaces by more than you'd think. This doesn't mean spending hundreds of dollars on complete custom jobs (although that's the most fun). You could totally just get a mat cut to fit the frames you already have. It's like adding beautiful hardware to a door you already like :)

This looks amazing, well done Megan! I have one suggestion; why not paint the wall black too? The outdoor is not centered and now that the door is black it sticks out even more - so I personally would paint that whole wall black too to give a sense of symmetry
I am an Interior Designer. The actual hanging picture height: Imagine a line from upper corner left to lower corner right and upper corner right to lower corner left. That center of the X should be 60 inches from the floor. And you should have had a nice semi colorful Statement Art piece instead of the giant mirror. And on the table closest to the front door should be a purple in hue amethyst stone for wealth energy and prosperity. This will open all of the senses for you and your guests as both of you will feel welcomed and blessed as you walk through the door…!!!
Now for my real comment. The Hein Studio poster would look good with a red backing (the negative space) and it would add some nice color and wow factor to the entry way. It would catch your eye in the mirror.
