    I'd like to see a serious review (like from PC Magazine) of the reliability of the data transfer of USB hubs. Like he said in the video, I've heard these things can fail while transferring files, which is just unacceptable for any business.

    I found this to be a really informative video. Because I was wondering what the benefits of a powered hub would be for me along with anything else I would need to know to choose a high powered hub. Which it covers in detail. I wondered why it got so many thumbs down though.

    Thank you!! This is literally exactly the information I was looking for. But I have a question, anyone who sees this please answer. I actually bought one of the two port MacBook Pros for music production. Is a hub going to work to connect a midi controller? I've been very frustrated trying to set up a home studio.

    • @calebvalentinegonzales2986
      @calebvalentinegonzales2986 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes but the Hub can run out of power if you don’t always use it plugged into a outlet along with your computer making the performance of your midi’s and interfaces (audio boxes) distort and create white noise in my instance.

    Powerrrrr lol I loved the Clarkson reference. So would I be best to use a powered USB Hub to put less strain on my laptop's internal power supply for my Audio Interface and my DJ mixer, which are both USB-powered only and kills the battery fast but I've only had to run it on battery a handful of times. I only use one or the other for audio output to my stereo, or would putting them on a switched powered USB hub add more latency?

    why is it so hard for Companies to develop a reliable USB 3 hub? I just purchased an Anker USB 3.0 7-Port Hub, plugged it in and immediately got the blue screen of death. Driver didn't load correctly and i had to remove it from my PC to load windows again. Then i had to repair the USB driver. it's 2019... should there still be so many issues with these things, or is it just the over saturation of cheap Chinese products flooding the marketplace? any reviews i google just lead me right back to Amazon, which is where all of these reside.

    this is ridiculous,☺️. Go ANALOG, all the way , then copy to digital. I can understand if you’re playing virtual sampled instruments on pc or external midi. So let’s bow our heads and pray for the return of simplicity. Multi tracked for years and only touched the on and switch.
