Whenever i connect the controller to the ipad or iphone, it wont let me connect to the ps5 through remote play. But when the controller isnt connected, remote play works just fine. Any solution to this?

Pro 2 is far superior to the backbone in my opinion. And the Pro 2 is just an al around awesome controller. I use it for Phones, Switch, Mac, Windows, iPads etc.
Thanks for the great video! I was wondering if you can help me with something. The 8 bit do controller is not working on my Remote app. I can connect it via bluetooth and it works to navigate through the app on my phone (Android), but inside the Remote app it does not work. I tried connecting my Dual Sense controller to my phone and if works fine in the remote app. My first thought was that Sony put some kind of block so we can only use a DualShock or DualSense controller in the remote app, but since I saw you using it normally on yours, I am sure there is a way around it. I know you are using iPhone, but do you happen to know a way to make it work in Android?

Sorry to hear you're having issues with it. As you said, I can't really test that since I'm on iPhone and not android. Which mode do you have selected on the Pro 2? If you saw in the vid I was running into some issues until I had the right mode selected, although that mostly had to do with lag and not connection issues or anything
Does it fit on 8bitdo Ultimate bluetooth? I am asking because i have been looking for some time for a phone clip for the 8bitdo ultimate, but i haven't found.

You say it's not very heavy but forget to consider the phone

I tried but no, I couldn’t get it to work directly with the PS5. I could sometimes get it to show up by changing the mode switch on the back, but button inputs would never work. Thanks for watching!

Oh huh, the ios remote play app allows any controller? On Android, I can only use my DS4. My SN30 Pro+ doesn't get registered by it.

How did you pair it to your iPhone ?
I start talking about this at 6:30 - there are a couple tricks to getting it to work properly
Press start then on top says pair mode. Then look the video

No it’s fitted specifically for the Pro 2
I use a 1996 Dell desktop monitor as a phone, would it fit that?
Oh for sure! Just need to have some ropes and pulleys handy

It doesn't since the clip isn't tall/wide enough. I did manage to fit a Switch Lite in it but that would be the absolute max

As long as you can connect the controller to the phone it will work. :) d-input for phone(B+ start)

I thiiink it’s the X. I can’t remember which one it is but I do remember it not being immediately obvious. Pretty sure it says which is which in the manual and I think I go over it in this video as well

Not 100% on that but I think it would. I think the part that the clip clips to is the same size on the sn30 pro xbox version

How do I connect the pro 2 to my iPhone? What mode? The A mode doesn’t work :( the help would be appreciated
You can get it to connect in A mode but I’ve found the lag to be really bad. Try switching it to X mode and then on your phone go to settings > accessibility > switch control > switches > Bluetooth devices. In X mode the controller will show up as the 8BitDo Pro 2 instead of a DualShock 4 and all the lag should be gone
What mode is it in for the PS5 to register the sn30 pro
Im pretty sure you won’t be able to connect it to the PS5. Sony only allows the DualSense to work with it. The controller in this vid isn’t actually connected to my PS5, it’s connected to my phone using the remote app. Hope that helps!

@@adrianfrizzle7651 hmm not sure. Do the touch controls work on your phone? If they do then it’s a problem with the pairing of the controller. Make sure it’s in the right mode using the switch on the back

Haha wow, I didn’t even think to check that. I almost just replied back “no”, but I just tried and it actually does fit! It’s suuuper tight and definitely maxing out the clip and could damage it over time. It actually doesn’t feel all that heavy though. I think the Switch Lite might be lighter than my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Not sure I’d recommend getting it if that’s what you’re planning to use it for, but you could make it happen. Thanks for watching!

Not the full-size Switch tablet but I was actually able to fit my Switch Lite in there!
